Beats the hell out of me. This topic got off track quick.

Good question Dano asked and great observation . . . here are a three posts that took it on a different tangent:

#1 - an attack about a post that was removed

The day I stop questioning everything I hear and read is the day ill be pulling my plug. Always be skeptical and question everything. It surprised me that people can question absolute everything coming from the government or from science journals yet take other information at complete face value without hesitation.

And it's a good thing people are questioning. We recently had someone post an article about aircraft carriers being docked at Norfolk (basically an anti obama propaganda piece). Well anyone with a little checking could quickly find out that the "article" was a blatant hoax.

#2 - Political stone throwing episode #1

I can't wait until they do away with Social Security and Medicare. I would really like to see more people homeless and hungry. Darn socialist pogroms, citizens should be forced to give their money to the wall street titans where it will do the most good. A couple more wars would be nice too, maybe invade Pakistan and Iran at the same time, kids that can't afford to go to college can become citizens by serving the corporate interests in foreign lands. Now can we get back on the 4 girls and the multi home invasion guys and how a properly used AR15 with armor piercing bullets would have stopped said assault?

#3 - Political stone throwing episode #2

aside from the heritage foundation, which is a rightwing think tank sponsored by the Koch brothers, could you point out a few areas where living standards have improved for the majority of citizens? Where wages have kept pace with inflation (or non inflation for that matter), where homelessness has decreased and employment has improved? 44, I know you have it in you to show such things without tossing rocks so I'll thank you in advance. BTW, which sector of the public has benefitted the most with this great stock market recovery.

These are done with the intent of derailing posts that go against their personal beliefs, knowing full well that some of us will try to defend ourselves and / or correct their polluted logic.

Doesn't matter who derailed it. If he did and he'd walked over a cliff then you'd all be just as dead as him, so trying to blame others is ridiculous!
