View attachment 1661311View attachment 1661314 this shows one of the intrusian srings, now heenly eroded

Don Jose, what is the name of the river in the last photograph?

And does it become a lake? In the lower left corner of the second photo in the previous post?.?

I didn’t expect to see a river there.
I am thinking that it must have been a difficult and maybe dangerous crossing, if you had to.

It is a little hard to imagine that, as you were far above it when you took the pictures, but sooner or later you must have come down, no??

All of the mountains look as if they were shaped by a big comb.
Neatly groomed by erosion.

Mikal, you catalouged it perfectly "Knowledge, unshared is a crime to the mind and a sin to the spirit, and a torment to the heart." however I am limited, but common sense and obligation to my family as to possible financial returns, we shall see, until that is finally resolved, if eve, I am limited. . As for that river, I'm afraid that that is an arroyo in flood. It is the aroyo San Luis Barborcos. The main reason that the area is so erroded is that it is so broken up, and is in the main route of the Hurricains that come ashore on Sinalos and Sornoa. I see that one of my pictures did not print, I'll try again. It shows the intrusion and all
.

Jose, that phrase was simply, how I feel about the book.
But looking back at it, I think that it probably has a place in the book [emoji433].

Thank you for bringing it up for me.

About the arroyo, I think that I would hate to be in it , even on horseback, should it suddenly flood.

Nowhere to go but up!

Yet, knowing what you have shared about it, if I wore a younger man’s clothes, I think that I might try it at least once!!

Thank you for sharing it.

I hope that you are enjoying the Christmas season with your family!

Don Jose, that looks impossible to cross even when it is dry.

On the other hand, it looks like a natural giant sluice box!!

Lots of shoveling!!

I am doing well Don Jose...And you???

I have been to a location I believe to be one of the 3 Tayopa sites many many years ago...I still have a very small amount of ore from one of the mines of said Real de minas...One of the sites on the trail has a painting of The Lady of Guadalupe and a king and queen on one of the large rocks on the trail...I had came across a large rectangular stone standing up on end which I had believed was a death trap set up on the trail...It very well may have been but I came to another conclusion after thinking about it for some time...I now believe it may have been a primitive form of a crane...Or a large lever and fulcrum...An engineering feet which was cutting edge back in the day of the early engineers who designed it...hehehe...Anyhow it still appeared to be functional when I came across it many years ago...Who can say IF it is still there at the villa conception...I could be wrong in my assumption...But I know that the large rectangular stone was not formed naturally...It was cut and formed by someone at sometime...Who can say for certain exactly whom the engineers may have been...

It would be something IF the location I had visited was the one true Tayopa...We may never know...It too is the property of the citizens of Mexico...And with the new president of said country forming a country for the people by the people...Some Mexican, who too has been there, may bring it to those who need to knows attention...And the billion dollar prize may serve the paisanos well...

I doubt I'll ever find said locale again...It is in some God forsaken country only hard chargers like yourself may stumble upon...I did not like the mule ride one bit...Oh well...Time will tell...We'll just have to wait and see IF I ever get to spend enough time down in Mexico to buy me an Italika motorbike and head for them hills...rofl

John, ,three tayopa sites are considered genuine sites. The first near guynopa, the second near yecora, and the one near cerochito is considered as the actul site for THE Tayopa of fame. That's the one I have.
