Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

Well, I agree somewhat with you only because I was too young to be there. :notworthy:
I'am still looking for that episode I saw. The two archaeologists on the hunt looked real familiar. Almost like they were on a segment of Oak Island or something similar.

Hope all is well Don Jose, did you give your dove a Christmas present ? I could send some night-crawlers or is she a vegetarian ?

===================================
I was just watching a rerun of Expedition Unknown and Josh Gates was in Massachusetts searching for evidence that the Vikings were here and it has the two guys I was referring to as searching for Atlantis in the Michigan area now helping Josh Gates in his search for Vikings. Now I know why those two guys looked familiar, they are Bill and Jim Vieira of Ashfield.

Simon, it was situated on a gigantic, three ringed Caldera that was subducted, no volcanic action.
Simon, the dove has declared which she is, she dropped an egg on the floor, this despite my tenlling her that we are incompatible. She loves to cozy on the back of my neck where it is nice and warm n the mornings and seranade me. Far as I can se, she exists on a dier of seeds, she is a very sloppy eater - natures way.

An Atlantis in the Lake superior region would have had to face a long winter.
According to natives ,and confirmed ...the Griffon was the first sailing ship above the Detroit rapids.
Searchers since 1679 looked for her ,and the great lakes takes a sort of pride in protecting ship wrecks of late.

Without earlier ships that the Griffon being located , and the fresh water and cold water preservation conditions the likely hood of a society from a great distance building a greater empire ( structure wise) greater than the natives is slim.
Visitors? Likely. Long term establishment through multiple winters without leaving sign/ evidence? Maybe not.
Rumours of others " before" , yep ,gotta have them.

Crude underwater structures ( cairn type wind breaks ,hiding places , or prey traffic direction if recalled correctly) related to hunting ( caribou perhaps in colder times?) And stumps of trees have been located in now submerged areas.
No cities ,no homes,no fort or palace built by those from afar. Only sign of many eons of " natives" making do....and working copper out during summers.
Superior is a cold mistress.

Great stories everybody, I've enjoyed them immensely. Keep the fire burning!

Just a short note to let you know I will be MIA for the near future, but will be thinking of you all...especially you, Jefe. Y'all take care and don't do anything I wouldn't do (which leaves you lots of room for mischief).

Adios, Amigos!

Do hurry back Ditlihi ! One can only wonder how Don Jose is going to cause mayhem without you to keep him in line.

That is how I remember, ( I mean was taught ), Atlantis physically looked. Now if we, ( you ), could make contact with Edgar Cayce this matter could be solved.
I am glad to hear the Dove is still with you. That is pretty special. Dove.png

I am humbled with the offering of your measuring tape, but would not know which end to use. I do not shave my legs so I am pretty sure Don Jose would not take kindly to my methods. We will let someone with more patience and a way of words who can diplomatically assume the reigns in your absence. But still, hurry back.:wave::wave:

I’m not sure if, you leaving, means that we can put away our sharp sticks, or do we need them close by, or just not let them slip through our fingers!?!

Do take care and get back soon.

If you toss the sharp sticks, how will we toast the marshmallows and hot dogs waiting for our amiga's return? Better hang on to 'em, they have more than one use!
