Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

Gentlemen, I believe the operative word was "Pong"....not "Bong".

Sober up and carry on. :whip2:

That's why it pays in this area to have the contacts in the know and a network of heavy-hitters...

Otherwise, it could a be a hopeless, sad errand.

Perhaps, but in my opinion your time is never wasted hunting for treasure. Even if it were an entirely fictional treasure, the fact that you go out searching, greatly increases your chances of making a serious (valuable) find. Sitting at home won't find a treasure, that is a certainty. But agreed, if you learn that a particular treasure (or lost mine) has been found and recovered (or belongs to someone) your time is better spent on another target.

Oro, tis good to see that you have finally aroused from your Rip Van Winkle sleep, and that should read "Our mine"., that goes for El Naranjal also.

Still not sure why you would insist on giving El Naranjal to someone who denies it's existence (at least in the area where you know it is)?

??????:BangHead::icon_scratch:

I think I'll have some rum and ponder that. Or, if cwp will join me, some Zinfandel. :occasion14::drunken_smilie:

Short finger, since I am rapidly approaching the time of no strenuous physical efforts allowed, why not? Sides, he. at least his wife Beth, is nice people. Look at how long it took me to cinvince him that I actually had found Tayopa ?

Course if ORO doesn't want, it tis yours, with the exception of being a partner...( in the profits, not the effort :laughing7: )

The location has already been shown in the Dowsing forum., the square in the uppr right of the photograph.

As I was sitting here maulding over life I realized that I have had many interesting experiences, among which I was priveliged to witnes the fiirst Atomis test at Bikini Atoll. The ship I was being transported back to the Pacific was anchored there

everything was strictly monitired, the atoll was kept strictly pristine for !//2 of the Atoll. even the swimming area was very restricted. They wanted to monitor the effect s of the radiation in the years to come.

Somewhere I have the instructions on a faded piece of paper showing just where I could go. I'll see if I can find it, I saw it the other day, tis a bit of history now. Incidentaly when they set off the first Atomic explosion, they wern't quite sue that it wouldn't set off an enormus reaction with the earth supplying the fuel, in other words you almost become a non-entity before you were born..:laughing7::coffee2::coffee2:

Well, Don Jose, no worries. If he wants it, it is his. I know that you and Oro go back a long way. My suspicion is that he will be busy enough with Tayopa, if and when he gets around to it, he won’t even bother with “El Naranjal”, but I could be wrong. My time of no strenuous effort is going to be approaching soon as well but it’s not quite here yet, although I have slowed a lot in the last 10 years. I do have a couple of relatively young sons who are capable of that kind of thing, so if Oro decides to pass, or he is too busy with Tayopa, let me know. I bet we could get quite a consortium of people who would be willing to look for it…..with you as a partner, of course. That goes without saying.

Yes and No. You have earned everything you have gotten, including Don Jose’s trust, and I am not jealous of that in any way. I still think you are being a little stubborn about the location of “El Naranjal”, but we have beat that subject to death in other places, so I won’t repeat it, unless you insist. My only little twinge of jealousy would be that you took one road when you had a chance, and I took another. I will always wonder what would have happened if I had taken the other road, but my way turned out to be a good choice as well, so I guess I am not jealous. Besides, I just got to share some virtual Zinfindel and peanuts with cwp. Maybe you are the one who should be jealous…..
