Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

Agree with you fully NP.

I think it is fair to say most of us would prefer to deal and work with folk who don't leave a pong of BS in the air behind them and as a result, compromise their credibility.

Only deal in what you know you can do.

But discipline and knowing one's limits comes hard to some unfortunately.

Still ,one must try ;or be shiftless.

Sometimes a physical or mental recovery means limits must be re-measured and boundaries pushed , if only to reach former status and then pushed more to gain...

Yes, when considering over extending oneself capitol wise or in a risk outweighing a reward, one must assure the utmost due diligence prevents magnifying a fault.

Dear Don

Considering its "Bar Tayopa" where us bar flies and bums end-up putting the world to rights and drowning our sorrows often, as landlord, I sincerely hope the next round of beverages is on you....:occasion14:

Relevantchair,
Even due diligence has its limits; when ones wants to believe, it is often too easy to make the facts fit your belief. I have done this and ended-up feeling like an as!#*?e for being so naive. Still you live and learn.

Well, will have to meet you in Ol Mexico to get da drink from you...

today was at the Mexican Imigration office. I had submitted my son's birth cert. as proof of a Mexicna cit. decendency, However the girl handling the case noticed that the father was blank and she started questioning me about this. Where upon I simply turned to my wife and said "Mujer,I believe that you owe me a few explanations, intimating infidelidad before I was forced to smile so all knew that I was joking. That broke the ice, and after the uproar had died down the rest of the interview went smoothly."

Surprisingly my wife went along with it .

Oh yes.
I've fooled myself and got all exited. Repeatedly.
When a situation arises similar and a red flag light should illuminate ;I've done it again just to be sure it was wrong..

"The first mistake could be the last, but at least never make the same mistake twice".

'The towels and ice are for paying guests" .

No wonder I'm nervous ....Oh wait ,it's just the coffee.

NP not really up to snacking on bugs yet, including lice and other bodily critters. but who knows about tommorow ?

It's difficult, at best, to free a mind that is bound with golden chains.

If you think it is, then it is.
If you think it is not, then it is not.
