Misc data and adventures of a Tayopa treasure hunter

May you follow in the footsteps of Jesus for the rest of your life Don Jose. You are truly a good man.

That stinking bylaw wording needs to be corrected by the corporate officials.

Or we will have lost the soul of every post that we share with our brothers and sisters, relating to the history that we make known to one another.

It sucks the life from every post.
This will become a ghost town where every post shall become just another uprooted tumbleweed passing our windows.
Unnoticed and lost to the untrained eyes of every reader.

"Hump! I wonder what that meant"? ?

Coffee, anyone?

Agreed, hope they will decide to change their wording on that rule. Not likely to happen though.

NP you have a LOT of stories you have not told us, any that you are willing to share (and not intended to use for publication otherwise?)? Thanks in advance.

Real de Tayopa great post! "Like" was not a strong enough compliment. I hope this does not impinge on the book however. :dontknow:

:coffee2: :coffee2:

Nah Oro, have a life time of similar things, sides changing it a bit would still avoid problems.
:coffee2::coffee2: <--genuine 'clean' sock coffee.

Incidentally, this was one of the stories that I deleted.

Hi Oro,
I had to go back a few pages to see what rule you were talking about.
I had a similar problem with the wording quite a while back.
I pulled all of my pictures from the attachments on my profile because like you I do not grant this site publishing rights to that stuff . it's too bad really cause it disrupted the flow of a couple threads I had a personal interest in.
It may not be the intent of this forum to gain such rights by accepting the user agreement, however the rule is in pretty plain verbiage .

If the intentions are to establish; that once posted, always posted on thread, as originally posted.

That is how it should be written.

I assumed that is what it meant and had no problem agreeing to that.

I would be content with that. I just don't want to see my copyrighted stories as if someone else lived thru my actions.

It's hrashing my mellow, man.

Since Jesse James rode for so long, and there
are so many people in several states, that do
claim to be of some kind of kin to him...

I wonder if he ever told anyone other than Frank,
where he stashed the rest of the bootie an' goodies?...

But I figure for sure God, and the Devil probly both
knows the whereabouts, that is if there is anything left...

Amigo, You know what kind , :coffee2::coffee2::coffee2:" Dito " on everything you said about our Amigo,
The words I have to share are always from my personal diary, which is in my mind,I was never one to write anything down until I started
posting on TN, So If TN or anyone else wants to use whatever I write on these different threads is OK with me,whatever makes them happy,
just as long as I can share with all of you. This body of mine has always been just a vessel or a shell for an adventurist or inquisitive spirit,
Its very hard to accept the fact that when your health starts going and the older you get,the less your body wants to cooperate with your spirit,
your spirit is what drives you and all aspects of your life.I will try and post more stories. thank you. NP:cat:

El Tropical Tramp-
Though I know you've shared this with us many times in years past, would you mind taking us through how/when/why you decided, years ago, to make a run for the legendary Treasure of Tayopa again please?
Just to refresh our memories as well as inform those who may be newer members and haven't heard the tale yet...... however, ONLY if you happen to be taking a break from signing my copy of your recently-completed book!

Please feel free to pour yourself a nice fresh cup of roasted goodness to help rid your mind of the cobwebs!

Yes, I know I could just as simply spend an hour or so sifting through past posts from 10 years ago to find this answer, though where's the fun in that?! I'd rather hear it directly from the hors.... Ah.... Um.... I mean.... The BURROS mouth!

Plus, you never know; Maybe telling the story all over again will jar loose a never-before-shared memory/anecdote of your search.

Thank you in advance and, as usual, all the best to you and yours-
-Justin

j.A. A. you stated that --- I'd rather hear it directly from the hors.... Ah.... Um.... I mean.... The BURROS mouth!

You, of course, meant ?MULE? Anyway, it was right after I was married and was looking for a way to support my new wife, when someone loaned me F. Dobies book Apache gold & Yaqui silver and soon after Yeager purchased the Alter hand bell of Tayopa - it was cast in the rim --I realized that Tayopa actually existed, and somehow knew that I was destined to find it, this was followed by a long series, of hard to logically explain, events which led to Tayopa itself.

CWDame is a remarkable woman, as you now know, she puts her heart into her beliefs, which are sadisticly inclined --book-- indeed, hmph. gonna go out into the patio and drink coffee -- on second thought it's too :censored: cold.

Love that :censored:, covers from the rediculous to the sublime, depending upon your reader :tongue3:
