Nuestra Señora de Ayuda
OK , I know this site topic is alittle old and not sure who is still on here.
What I am looking for is
Did the Nuestra Señora de Ayuda go down off the west coast of Catalina on the west side of the island ?
Did the Santa Cecilia and San Pedro also go down near Catalina as well ?
I am looking at information for a documentary on the the following :
1582 Santa Marta (galleon)
1598 San Pedro (galleon)
1641 Nuestra Señora de Ayuda (galleon)
1754 San Sebastian (galleon)
Did these all sink, wreck, burn, etc near the Catalina islands ?
I will read one document then read another that counters the information ?
Would the USCG or the Catalina island history society ? My first step is to confirm that they are and did go down in the area.
I am a film maker not a treasure hunter.
