Looking for some cannons on Crooked Island.......

There is a similar pile of cannon north of memory rock...on the edge....Portuguese wreck 1627...has many many different cannon...mortars.....pieces.....and was used as ballast.....but there were also many nice coins...that were in great shape, I think because of all the iron in the area......nature was kind to them...lots of cannon balls also....

We are in a look don't touch period at the moment in the Bahamas but I hope to map the area and try to discover what's there for maybe when permits are available.

Going over tomorrow and hope to discover some more info, so watch this space....ha ha

Thanks SADS, good luck you just never know what you may have there!

Thank you for the update regarding BVI, hope he hit the jackpot! Man how I wish!!!!!!

SADS, I got your underwater pic at the top of your website page, to take color samples. There are 2 different main shades above the diver and another shade on the bottom where the diver is looking. Here is matching the bottom shade fom your page photo.

I didn't expect the screenshots to be as sharp, but you can see bottom.

Oh, nice still images can be used as frames, to set in motion, make a small WMV clip. I've done it before and should be small enough to email. The only purpose would be so several clips get used for a larger video with voice added. Of coarse music can be used if you don't like speaking to a computer. I made a clip out of 11 images with audio recording added.....36 seconds about the same as your videos and the WMV file size only 544 KB. If you don't mind classical music, I've got a couple audio clips that should work with underwater photos. The whole complete video probably will go on email attachment.

Definitely a lot of stones around some of the cannons.

The color is close, today tried making frames from the video screenshots......see if this is going to work making clips. Not going to be quite as sharp.

Yeah, it's an amazing world down there SADS and only 12 ft deep.:coffee2:

Hey Red,

Spot anything of interest in this photo??

ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1459890170.623998.jpg

I'd say it looks like a slightly different angle, of the one other pic. Let me enlarge it some as I did for the last 2 you posted.

Must be a cannon ball in the lower right? I know these 3 photos would be great to make frames from for a video clip.

Yep, sure looks like a cannon ball to me, now I don't think the cannons were ballast in the bilge if there was ammunition nearby??
