I have noticed how you guys like to accuse those of us "self declared centerists or moderates" of being left leaning or pinky commie libs (as it was stated in the past).

It is very telling. Could the reality possibly be that you all are just so far to the right that anything else only SEEMS like it is left leaning?

Just an observation.

JB - The truth is, we on the right have always been the same and will never change. The left has gone so radical, that people who say they are moderates are just the liberals from the 80's.

Do a search on site and see who has used term pinky commie libs, or pinko commie liberal (actual term if not a typo), I think you will find most times it was a liberal using that term here...

My political beliefs are the same now as 20 years ago and the same as 40 years ago, and even 50 years ago.

I have always been conservative, even in Jr high.. I am not saying party, I am saying my political beliefs in where we came from and what we should stand for...

People need to thicken their skin these days if their purpose is to debate hot issues. No always agrees with everyone, and I for will not change any of my core beliefs, and will not respect anyone who has to resort to name-calling to get his point across. Debate the facts, and do it intelligently, or don't , the choice, and the right is yours, but don't be surprised by the response.

Here is what your referring to, and as I stated then, pinko commie liberal was not directed at any particular member, he was talking about public school educators...

These arguments are not for argument sake. I take it serious, that it is our duty to keep and hold the original
heart and soul of America. Just because pinko commie libs have had control of the education system for x
amount of years, does not mean what is being taught is correct.

As do mine, yet bevo can say "pinko commie libs" and apparently it's no problem.

I think that many of us "left leaners" are trying to prove a point. Somehow, our point is either being missed or ignored.

The point is: We do not want to be judged by you or anyone. If we say we are moderates or centerists, then take it for what it is. It is not up to anyone else to tell us who we are or what our personal beliefs are. Plain and simple.

My point is saying someone is liberal or conservative, left wing or right wing, left lean or right lean is not an insult and does not violate our rules.

I can just as easily say I'm a moderate because in the conservative world I would be a moderate.....

I am trying to get many folks on here to stop judging others and stop labeling everyone a liberal, especially since many folks have stated that they do not consider themselves left leaning.
