We're going to do some dredging when the snow thaws. Private property, no cops, no rangers, no other bullshit. Dredging doesn't hurt a thing, it improves rivers. Dredgers should be paid for providing the environmental cleanup service they do. All the crap that settles in the bottom of rivers and streams is cleaned up by us. Turbidity? That's one of the dumbest, foolish regulations. One strong storm will turn the turbidity up a million times more than a dredger or highbanker even does working clay. Maybe they should outlaw rain, so the river stays clear all the time.
