We're going to do some dredging when the snow thaws. Private property, no cops, no rangers, no other bullshit. Dredging doesn't hurt a thing, it improves rivers. Dredgers should be paid for providing the environmental cleanup service they do. All the crap that settles in the bottom of rivers and streams is cleaned up by us. Turbidity? That's one of the dumbest, foolish regulations. One strong storm will turn the turbidity up a million times more than a dredger or highbanker even does working clay. Maybe they should outlaw rain, so the river stays clear all the time.

Not that I would ever ever advocate breaking state laws, but it seems that using a gravity dredge would solve the noise and exhaust issues. If black ABS piper were used it'd be nearly invisible too.

you can find an old tin 5 gallon bucket and lid you can run exhust in to the can filled with water use flex pipe for around muffler with hose clamp but you would have to change muff. to long clindrical kind to clamp flex on if you just drill 1/8 " holes in flex just above lid just a few it will not suck up water in exhust and it will be quiet it takes some experimenting but it can be done and you can take the water with you so no poluteing flex is at automotive store in muffler section thanks

Briggs makes a lowtone mufflers that cut noise considerable and watch out on backpressure restrictions on these lil'ol'engines--them valves fry easily. Crazy thread won' die- John
