JESUIT TREASURES - ARE THEY REAL?

With all the Jesuit Scholars on here that can translate many languages you'd think that they might have purposely overlooked this one little piece of paper? Or is it just plan old sloppy research?

Or listening to the Jesuit Fathers help pass on the misinformation?

You decide is this the smoking gun?

Look what I found here in the Archives of the Indies in just a few minutes of research?

Cleary a Church with Mining Tunnels running out from near it's doors underground with many shafts of ore being hauled up, Clearly!

Looks more like a diagram of a sophisticated water supply system, Bill.

Bob,

As I have always said: "Being a treasure hunter requires a knowledge of history, archaeology, paleography, geology, prospecting, and much more."

You say the map is a "Jesuit Map dated 1770...". While it is a compilation of earlier Jesuit Maps of California, I can tell you with no equivocation that the Jesuits did not produce this map in 1770. See, at the time, they were a bit busy being rounded up, arrested, and marched across Mexico, and shipped back to Europe for jail sentences in 1767-1768. By 1770, there were no Jesuits in the New World (wit the exception of Maryland). The Order had been suppressed by the Portuguese, French, Spanish, Sicily, and the two Parmas. The Pope finally suppressed the entire Order worldwide in 1773 with "Dominus Ac Redemptor".

What I have see in that ( association of maps ) map and made me thinking , is the region Cevola ( Cibola ? ) in the map 1 which is in the same region with the Superstition Mountains .

Why would one need all those wells next to a river?

Plenty of holy water for the masses! Look closely at the rocks in the leather bags it's mining.
I know this because that is where I found it in the Archives of the Indies under Mina and Jesuit.

You can clearly see the upper diagram is Smelters.

I don't believe they smelted water did they?

Besides you should know I have a clarification of what your seeing, I have a backup page of the mining your looking at.

Jesuit Mining

This is a blue print for the building of a church with mine tunnels attached. Notice the same technique used in the first only notice in the left side middle you can see the ore being hauled up by the very same machines used in the first picture. You should also note these diagrams are set up EXACTLY like De Re Metallica's book!

It makes one think about all those old Mission sites and how the King was mad the Jesuits were putting their Mines right at the Churches and Mission's.

You can't deny it this is Jesuit Mining from under the Mission complexes.

What I find quite interesting is the spelling. Mina de Asogue - a quicksilver mine. But asogue is commonly spelled as azogue.

The mine in the drawing is in Peru "Mina de Azogue Santo Tomas"

Like I said before in another thread their language is slang they spell it like they hear it or say it. It's particular to the Individual and sometimes is part Spanish, part Portuguese, or even German or French!

Can you translate the rest of the document?

Never Mind, I suspected it was Peru!

Great!

The Mines in Peru. Francisco Pizarro's folly.

Hernan Cortes had a Cousin.

They all mined the same way.

I find the same El Tio's here as in Peru.

Actually, it supports my theory of mines here being the same as in Peru.

I have a few more images that show pit mining I might share.

Bill,

Good work on those drawings.
