Hola, Don Jose de La Mancha.

How did your new metal detector worked out in Mexico? I have a White's XLT, TM 808 and thinking about getting a DFX. My father in-law has some claims on possible mines in the area of Rio Verde San Luis Potosi and I hoping to go there in a couple of months to do some detecting. Are the detectors mention above a good choice or should I be looking at the Minelab gold nugget detector.

Goio,

IF YER LOOKIN FER GOLD............BIG OR SMALL ..............GMT.
BUT REMEMBER YER NOT JUST GONNA GET OUTTA YER VEHICLE TURN ON THE MACHINE AN FIND GOLD, YOU GOTTA WORK FOR IT ......DIG IT ???????? ::)

Hi Guys,

What is the difference between the MXT and the GMT? Warsawdaddy, I don't quite get what you meant with this question (Stickly for gold?Or for gold nuggets?) Could you please explain?

Thank you.

The higher the freq in krz the better, I do believe.

The MXT will find some really small targets, irritatingly so, when you're relic hunting. But, when looking for really small gold flecks this thing will do the job. Seems to me that many small gold flecks will add up and sometimes is the only way to get gold when an area has been hunted alot.

of the three you mentioned i would go with the MXT, but as was already posted, if you are only going to hunt nuggets with it why not get a machine that is designed to only do that?
