My Buddy and I keep what we find separate unless we decide to work together to clear an area out quicker.
If we found a large nugget while we were working together, we would simply split the sell value.
No need to squabble and ruin good friendships.

Detecting finders keepers.Working as team sluicing or dredging I would be passive over what become of the nugget buy me out with your share of the smaller stuff or cash.I detect and prospect with my wife so unlikely I would ever have such a problem.Not to mention dealing those large nuggets not an issue in my area.Its not worth a big bunch of crap fighting over 1 nugget.It would take a very large nugget to make it a life changing event.I wouldnt make a fuss even if it was worth 20k extra money would be nice dont get me wrong but at the end of the day I value people friends family and such more than money or gold.

Isn't the more common problem: what happens when I drag my buddy out to my secret spot and we both get skunked OR we did well, so he came back without me? LOL
