If They Come for Your Guns, Do You Have a Responsibility to Fight?

Just more pro-gun regurgitated scaremongering! I doubt that guy actually wrote this, it's just a mish mash of things said hundreds of times a week by hundreds of people spliced together. Nobody wants all your guns! *yawn*

"I can post hundreds of these quotes"!...Yup, but the trouble is half of them are false, twisted around or just plain fraudulent! ( Even Monticello.org can't find most of the quotes spouted by the gun lovers ANYWHERE!)

The REAL question here is - Are you willing to face 30 ATF officers armed to the teeth....and then raise your gun in their direction? Unlikely isn't it? ;)

AGREE!

That is why I won't join the NRA. They bank on fear and then make compromises with DC.
The Gun Owners of America seems to be a better org nationally, but in my state we have the Oregon Firearms Federation, which is a "no compromise" organization. Maybe your state has one too.

And HUNDREDS of Lawyers; I read it on the internet; it MUST be true...

Bosn...just so you know. You CAN carry a concieled weapon in Calif. You would not want to cause trouble at our family reunions :)

I belong to several including NRA, right now I believe it is most important to support the one with the most political power to fight the liberal lefts gun grab.

It is like hiring a lawyer, do you hire the one that is closest to your political beliefs or hire the one that has the best chance to win your case. When I go to court I hire the most experience vicious lawyer I can find, I don't go to court to lose, I go to win, especially when it concerns my freedoms.

I think he is stating that the NRA has hundreds of lawyers like that's a BAD thing. In DC you have to fight fire with fire

You get SSI...?

Personally, I believe we are all (those of us that are US citizens and take our 2A seriously, anyhow) in the fight to maintain our right to defend ourselves with firearms, so whatever org one belongs to is great. We're all friends.

We can open carry (municipal jurisdiction) or be licensed to conceal carry (county authorized) here.

NOT in DC, nor SOME states...

Lawyers do cost money. It doesn't matter what lobby you care to support, they won't exist without FINANCIAL support or "vote" support.....sad but true. If you don't give DC folks either money or your vote (or both) you don't count.

I know you can't carry in DC, it would scare all of the armed thugs out of town.
Can't carry in Chicago either, check out their crime stats

Yup, we are seeing more and more gun rights splinter groups out there as most people realize the NRA is in the pocket of big business and not the individual gun owner. They've gotten a little fat and happy wining and dining all the political and corporate big wigs.

That is absolutely true. It takes a lot of money to win the fight.

Depending on your numbers, if just 20% of your counties' party's registered voters gave $20/mo, your party would win elections. When I solicit for political donations for my party, I tell the people, which are usually small business owners, that it is just. like. union. dues. Then they get it.
