this is basically similar in size and shape as a junior mint.. heavy like lead ..when i first posted here ,peeps tgought it was lead..but didnt give up on it.. used manual camera settings and lots of lighting and bingo.. ..so need to start over figureing out what it is ..a any one ? any idea i have more pics ill upload in a fee mins...every angle i turn it the imafe changes ..i think its a coin

just cleaned up hammer head to see what it was i found.... and the little rock people ive ben obsessed with proveing !! there showing up evrywere niw.. . the Startin to show up on everything I'm finding ..thought this hammer was insigficant, but kool lookin ..so insstead of tossing it i took it inside and tge light hit it just right,thsnkgod..now my fsmily finalky can see that im not going cookoo ..the hammer, it's infested with large rock people. I'm just not sure how to clean it I don't want to damage anything so I'm going to leave it on the baseboard to heat up for a while so that the crusty dirt comes right off I guess then hopefully I can get some good shots of it but take a look.. I'm trying to make out what this site is that I'm digging on I've gotten everything from Indian Head pennies to my latest coin I pulled out tonight dating 1359 I believe but I got to get some better pictures of evrything

Take a small tack hammer and start slowly and relatively softly whacking on your hammer. The blobs will start falling off, then you can wire brush the rest off. I also use something called "iron out", from the hardware store in a plastic container outside with hot water to get through the last of the rust fast.

wow i have to be carefull what i toss out for now on.. when I metal detecting at my spot that keeps giving and given I collect all my junk metal so I don't have to take it up again and they usually bring it home and throw it away but lately I've been checking everything the past two nights except for the nails cuz I've been finding tons of nails all of a sudden check out this nail, I haven't tried cleaning it all but hopefully I get a decent picture

I realize no matter what I do with the cell phone camera even though I'm using three different phones they all suck I got to go buy a camera to get some good photos so I gave up on the pictures thank God and I thought of tracing it with a pencil on a piece of paper can you see the guy

I just looked at my pics and I see people in the rust.. the rust is pinning my metal detector silver on this one and it has a couple guys in it that I circled..actually they have characters on em??

I really cant say what it is. Sure is interesting though. I found a piece of lead shaped nice and round, but also flattened. It had textile marks on it. All I could come up with was a musket Ball that most likely hit someone. The other piece of round flat lead I found seems to be a Railroad seal. Did you find this item near where a railroad may have been? Hope this gives you something to ponder anyway. I hope it gets solved for you.
