Hello friends, I need your help. An eagle was found carved in a rock (aprox 500m above sea level), the eagle is holding in its claws something that looks like a book with the initials P M. On the hill across from that sign, there is a huge statue of an eagle, lying on the ground (aprox 650m above sea level). On the head of that eagle are talons. the beak faces east while the claws face north. Please help... I am interested in the meaning of this sign, which looks like a lambda sign. a Celtic fibula made of wrought iron was found on that ground.. 🆘

Hey Kovac47, pretty neat find. I don't think it is an Eagle, I think it's a Raven. The Initials are simply those of the artist. Most likely a hiker?
