HOW ABOUT GUN SECTION

Perhaps all we need here is a Charter Member to moderate his own Personal Page focused on the particular area of interest.

Marc has never shown himself to be adverse to improvement upon Tnet.

Oh c'mon...

JG, Send a PM to Jeff of PA and ask what he can do. Marc is probably just stuck in a phone booth or something.
Or ask the Timberwolf what procedure is for starting up a personal page.

Maybe we need more individual posts about firearms??? Hmmmm. ::)
Well,I can tell you why I went to the 45-70,instead of another 30-06...... ;D

WoW!

I'd sure like to hear about that!

I'd really like to hear why you have chosen a 45-70 over a 30.06.

Will you come over to J-G personal Page and tell us your story?

Thanks

Guns?? like those things that H.R. 45 talks about that they want us to register??
If they catch us with one that is not registered we go away for five years as a guest of the state

I don't live in that state.
I "Had guns but all were lost in a boating accident".
Anyway, Orygun does not require registration.
Some firearms are from dead relatives or friends. Old things like .22 or .45 Colt.
No paper trail.
I have been inspected by many agencies , local, state, county, and FBI.
I am a certified "Good Guy" .
You live in a bad state.

That's even worse...

Thanks rmptr for reminding me about J-G area. I had forgotten.
And that doesn't come up on my "replies" list as it is private.

I HAVE BEEN Waiting PATIENTLY, what's up?

K, my favorite pistol is a S&W .357, Highway patrol model with 4" barrel and Keith long range front sight. I bought the first one in eastern Texas , Kingsville, in 52 while I was in the Border Patrol.

It had served me very well until my son lost it. It had traveled throughout the Pacific basin on exploration trips, but it's most extensive use, after the B P days, was in north Western Mexico while looking for lost Jesuit mines. That Barranca country is similar to the grand caynon and is effectively lawless even today.

After almost 300,000 full power rnds, it still met factory specs. A tribute to S&W workmanship and quality. I used it to beat the Mexican national pistol champion in 55 at Colima.
