Now $13+ for a 12-pack of “normal” beer, $4/loaf on white bread, etc.Hell I remember the "shock" when the price of a gallon started to go up last century and was approaching $0.50. Damn near DOUBLE from where I started....!!!!
Just North of you here in B.C. we are double that at $6.76 per gallon.. Way to much .....Regular unleaded is about $3.30 a gal here......too damn much!
Yeah buddy, well over $5. The county has an 80% tax on tobacco, plus different towns in the county have their own little tax, so $18 a can here in Frisco. But you're right, 25 cents a can late 60's, no ID required, haha! Now $13+ for a 12-pack of “normal” beer, $4/loaf on white bread, etc.
I started chewing Skoal around 1970: 25 cents per can. I quit several years ago. I don’t know the current price, but well over $5.
