Here is an odd symbol, sort of looks like an Anchor with a Engineering wrench crossing it but...maybe not,
I have been on Google for too many hours finding things close but not it....anyone have a clue what this stamp is or from?

Many thanks!

Not combative...I just do not get the impression you really read all that I post.

You didn't mention anything about an angle cut base to make it stand straight...

My progress?...well, I posted about looking online for many, many hours , and of course if I knew what it was it wouldn't be in this thread and if I cracked it I would have updated that too.

Holding a late model pewter item is a lot different than looking at pictures with the colors askew...
I have both old style and new style pewter and it just doesn't have that "feel" plus this thing is a gold / brass color not the silver gray color of pewter but please if you have gold colored pewter post it.....

you/Me lacking Hands on experience because of time online?....not sure if you are trying to poke at me and doing it badly or complementing my abilities.

I greatly appreciate your help I would love for you to pop back in with some piece with the same logo on it.....

It looks like a statue that would be beside a cash register to hold pennies for 'need a penny-leave a penny.' Also, Momma said, 'you get more flies with honey than vinegar.' :)

Flies?!?!?! my grandmother always said who wants flies...give me my swatter.....

While my wife is sure I'm wrong I think it's just a cast made by some home hobbiest, the stamp that i started this thread about is a mystery as to why the maker wanted it there yet after too many hours looking I we cant find anything even close....

When we first found this I thought anchor with an engineering wrench easy - o to find....wrong!!!!

My wife is very tenacious, doesn't like to give up,
I can't count how many hours we have put into hunting the symbol,

I have looked at a zillion anchors insignia , marks etc and the thing is none have that double hole in them,
And no wrenches with the hole in the center either, I have guessed and re-guessed is it and anchor is it a wrench?????

I just have no idea besides wondering if perhaps it is a one off from the maker who wasn't known.....

sorry, I own, mod, and post on too many forums of too many types sadly people do tend to glaze over posts missing things, I wouldn't want you or anyone to waste a second of their time on this.

.
