Shucks, that the nicest way I've been criticized since yesterday --- just before I was invited by a mark's employer to have a sit down meeting with he, his employee (the mark --- a city marshall) and his friend (sheriff in a large southern city I used to live in) so we could discuss how he was not going to comply with a court order that I am about to have enforced.

I don't understand how you see my post about Dano's poking the hornets' nest or about how if Backbacon is happy living in Canada then I'm happy for him is any sort of insult.

Funny how folks play the what is or what isn't an insult game. I think the best thing to do is just not to make personal comments then you don't have to worry about whether its an insult or not - right? What purpose does any personal comment play in a discussion?

I love it, you ignore what was said, and come up with more BS. Before Pearl Harbor the United States was arming Briton with lend lease. The U.S. and Briton were allies before Pearl Harbor. It is not misinformation, it's true, but you are ignoring the fact the citizens of the United States, through that horrible organization called the National Rifle Association, which is millions of everyday citizens of this country, not the gun manufactures, just plain people who donated private firearms by the boat load to be passed out to the civilian population of Britain. That's a fact. Did "we" the U.S. win the war? No. Did the United States supply the Allies with tons and tons of material, aircraft, ships, supplies, food, clothing and blood of our soldiers? Yeah. Would Britain have won the war with out the help of the United States? I think most people with just a wee bit of common sense would say "no" to that question. I think the total ignorance comes from north of the border. Boom Baby, LOL

Do us all a favor and read back through the entire thread and you will notice that the above post and others have disappeared. We we're all on the same team during WW2 and I never made a claim against that. Where's what I said about Pearl Harbor? Just so everyone knows.... I bought the fiance a 30-06 for her birthday today. Mixed in with the paperwork that came with the gun was a NRA recruitment form. If I act today I'll save $10 and only pay $25 for a full membership. I'm thinking on joining as to get an inside look into the different aspects of the organization.
