Heart shaped item, what is it? Odd Fellows Design, Suspender Buckle, Thanks !

This item obviously predates the existing structure on the site of find, buildings constructed early 1960s.
The item seems to have a bit of chain on top left, handshake top center, crossed staffs top right, all-seeing eye in center, lamb laying down on bottom? Also two skeleton keys on lower part. The bottom center hole had a rivet which disintegrated when the item was water washed, it seemed to be thick enough to hold some medium leather. Anyone know this items age etc?

There is a religious connotation to the resting lamb and the all-seeing-eye.
I'm more interested to learn what does this item represents than what was it attached to.
The clasped hands is also a Masonic symbol--so I'm leaning in that direction.

Three links signifies Odd Fellows. "The Three Link Fraternity"

That is a suspender buckle patented in the 1850's,with the Oddfellows/masons design....nice!!I have seen one other

I have myself dug one(without the design)and have a friend that has dug several and made an awesome display with the patent info.I have that info as well....some where!!

I found the same on in Southern NJ back in 2008. It is the IOOF suspender buckle from around 1850. There are symbols I have not been able to identity on the buckle, such as the fox, but most are IOOF.

Neil posted what I have.The one and only I have seen like yours was sold by the finder,as a medal "holder"(his words not mine)which it is not
