View attachment 1315587View attachment 1315588View attachment 1315589View attachment 1315590the first is galena, just haven't seen it at my mine, ( thanks Austin) what is the second??? The third is the galena gold silver copper from my mine, The forth sets the metal detector off and I think it's a sand stone that settled with high deposits of copper. It has clear blue crystals in it. So not what's the third corrected what is the one on the right and the bottom right that looks like sandstone with blue oxides that look like copper? Is it just sandstone with copper oxide? Would copper oxidized into blue green crystals in it?

Whack of a piece on #2 and show us the fresh surface.
Covellite is often found as a blueish copper mineral. Although, its more due to oxidation if I recall correctly. :)
If its not metallic, blue quartz is also possible. But a new pic would help.

Please help me to recognize this stone.Color changes[green to blue][1920 carats]

I still come by occasionally, hellokittyholly.

Guru, hardness test? Might be corundum. Better pictures would also help.

Hi I'm new to this forum as well as the rock world. I recently found a bunch of rocks that were dumped in a ditch that was washed out and a lot of them are not native to this part of the world some have been cut with a saw some polished there are even some Flint blanks that were practiced on making arrowheads. But these rocks i found several of and have no clue as to what they are. They look like some pics of calverite but not sure any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated1467384589015-610782333.jpg1467384838225-1067592680.jpg1467385085589579640660.jpg

I tried to post on this a min ago but am new to all this and I think I started a whole new thread. Any way I recently found some of these rocks and am not sure what they are. The was a lot of rocks in a ditch and they are not native to this land in West Texas for sure. Some have been cut Oren with a really big saw by the circumfrence of the blade marks. The were a lot of blacks someone had practiced Flint knapping and done geodes and giant quartz crystals. These I found proly ten good sized chunks of and have no idea what they are they kinda look like some pics off calverite I've seen. Any input would be greatly appreciated thanks1467385926464-613896850.jpg1467386102771904259867.jpg14673862618211242669902.jpg
