Got A Rock you Want Identified? Post it here! gimme a good picture or 3 or 4!

Hello there Im new to Forum so peasebare with me, Im cluless as to how to identify Rock but I love collecting them these were found up close to nebraska /ks line . The silver one is very very heavy and smells also it sparks when I drop it ( accident ).
The orange one was by creek black ine around edge are from me .wondering if you could help me with identifying these.Thank you in advance

That resembles petrified sap or something like that.

Hello, I’m really excited about a rock I was cleaning last night. It may have gold running through it OR it could be pyrite instead. I’d just love to know either way so I would Really appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you, Yvette

Hi. We found this rock in Tierra Blanca, Cartago, Costa Rica. ¿Can you please try to identify what it is? Thanks!

Need some help in identifying these rocks. Found them somewhere in Michigan’s lower peninsula near my house. This is my first time ever posting ... surprisingly there was not an app to answer my question! Have a bunch more cool finds that need IDs should this inquiry pan out🙂

Looks like fossilized ocean bed?

My grandfather found this (I do not know where) I would guess about 35 years ago. It has been sitting in his garden for as long as I can remember and my nephew recently found it and brought it to me to help identify being as I am a geologist. I do not know what this is. Any help would be appreciated.

Take these stones to your local collage at their Geology Department and ask them to identify them for you.
