Fossil ,rock,or meteorite?? ID help please

Hello i noticed your free ID post so I thought I would take you up on that, I had sent it to a university in the states and they really had no answer for me but did reply that they believed it was a fossil of some type but was strangely conformed to the rock. I found this in central Minnesota between two close together small lakes. The stone measures about 3 in. and seems to have a glazed like waxy type coating , It has never been cleaned or polished and photos show found condition. It is non magnetic and really would love to more of exacly what this is. I have been reading on stony meteorites and thought maybe the lines flowing on top and bottom were flow lines and not a fossil at all , ?? who knows , Thanks all anyway for reading and any input appreciated ,

Do you know what type of rock this is? And what they must have been mining for?
Found above Barstow, CA near the Coolgardie area.

Sorry, having issues getting back to the post I just did.
I'm trying to find out what type of rock this is, and what they were mining for?20190427_165100.jpg20190427_165100.jpg

Can some one help identify these crystals

I’m sorry I posted this on the wrong thread before I think, but seem to have the right one now.

Hello found these pieces of quartz in a vein that tree roots had broken up, so required little work. Found in southwestern Ontario close to Manitoba border in quartz, its vein lies in basalt/schist. Want to know what the crystals are and what type of mineralization would be present if it’s good gold ore or not. I’ll bust some up and sample it but just thought I’d share and see if anyone recognizes or can identify the crystals, thanks a lot for any help

Please note I used a magnifying glass on last photo has a strange reflection of my fence in it

Hi all. I found this rock along Contrary Creek in Virginia. It’s heavy and sets off a metal detector (Equinox 800 in Gold 1 mode).
I’m pretty sure the yellow coloring is pyrite (wish it were gold but I’ve been doing this long enough to know it’s almost certainly not), but I’m interested in the white coloring that coats the yellow colored stuff. The white stuff almost looks like it flowed onto there. Could it be mercury? Mercury-covered gold was found not 10 feet from this rock.

Here is one I found in a fault zone. Was emerging from a sandy cliff surrounded by white marble and limestone. Quartz with hydrothermal mineralization. I know little about what the reds and yellows specifically are. Thank You! Nucleus-looking spots on rock

Hello, I'm new here - just found this interesting rock while digging in my Northern Illinois garden. I've never seen anything like it around here. The soil has a lot of small rocks, occasionally what looks like corral or another fossil but this one is puzzling to me so I am curious to hear what you think! The circular spots have a tiny dot in the middle and are in a uniform arrangement. There is a small protrusion between the layers, you can see it by my thumbnail in the 2nd picture. Any ideas?

Heavy hematite mineralization. Have it professionally tested. The rainbow coloring suggests chalcopyrite butbit could also contain rare earth minerals.

Found this rock in an old rock quarry was wondering if someone could help me figure out what it is it is wet so the color shows thru more
