Got 2024 halves while I have yet to see a 2024 dime in circulation

Bank had $9 in loose halves, and $6.50 were 2024 ($3.50 P and $3.00 D). The other $2.50 were skunks (as are these 2024s). I was unaware that they were minting these for circulation like they did over the last few years. I have not yet seen a 2024 dime in circulation.

And for that matter, I have not seen a 2023 - 2024 quarter for Idar, Tall Chief, Mink, Walker, Cruz or S. A. yet either. Not one.
Are they hoarding them at the mint or something??

I have only seen the nickel once in a MWR about a month or so ago. There were 2 or 3 of them in that particular roll. Still waiting on the dime.

And you are in the area where you get them before I normally do. IN fact, I drove up there a few years ago and got five boxes of quarters. Found 19 of the W quarters. All in one trip. Found ZERO here in Phoenix. So I was hoping you were going ot say you were finding lots of 2024 nickels and dimes too. Bummer.

here it is nearly 2 months after this post and still no 2024 dime. Got another 2024 half from a teller tray a few weeks ago.

If this holds for the next few days, I think that this may be the first time in which I did not see one of the current year's coins from either mint, in circulation (penny, nickel, dime, quarter). While I don't recall with certainty, I think I did see the 2009 nickel before 2009 ended.

Don't forget that the half dollar is now also in circulation. No longer NIFC. And yes, I've seen a few this year. Just no dimes. Seen 18 nickels as of today.

You people must not get out much. Here in Texas Hill Country, I’ve been getting full boxes of 2024 D cents, nickels, and halves since summer. About every fifth box with cents and halves, and about one in ten with nicks. Never fun getting new, bright, and shiny.

The one coin you didn't mention is the dime. Have you seen any of those yet?

Also, personally, I dont search boxes (I pretty much only ask for CWR) so truth be told, I probably wouldn't be the first one to see newly minted coins.

I did not mention dimes because I do not search dimes regularly. If my source banks do not have what I want, I may get some dime, quarters, or dollars, or I may not. And yes, I have seen 2024 dimes and quarters, but only a few here and there.
