Damn, Parker kicked ass, but the old man stole the show.

Surprised Todd didn't get more running 2 plants and all that dirt.

Even with Freddy's help, Todd makes too many rash decisions and doesn't test enough. He probably did something like set up that new plant wrong...and failed to check his tailings off of it. Thus dumping a bunch of that last gold right back in the hole!

How come Freddy is not working with his brothers? Did I missed something?

after seeing the description for last nights show on the Onscreen Guide.
I unsubscribed to recording & watching Gold Rush.

I don't give a crap who's fawning over the old Man,
what beets-es do , or watch sit down talk shows.

they need to recast before I will watch again.

Roll me over & add ketchup.
I'm done !

Looks like it didn"t cost them anything. All the gold they found they still had it in the end. That pretty good profit. If i figured right $1.65 a yard Todd made. I don"t think that will pay the bills. But every thing is free so they did alright.

Claim owner got 20-25%, then gas alone was $2500-$5000(30 days) a day when running double x 100 days(as admitted on tv dozens of times), equipment torn up and destroyed from lack of maintence. Why else would you walk away from all that. Then reclamation costs millions as shown on the show to appease environutz. Now all the extra cooks, cleaners, gofers, ungodly cost of AK foods alone(they ate like crazy as shown) trailers bought, buildings built on and on. Usual clusterxxxx lost a fortune in the "REAL" mining world. Oregon laws will rip'm up good as they don't put up with FF bs-John

Very little money was put into the pockets with the exception of the workers. As I said Discovery is fronting this entire operation and gets free equipment from Volvo as its a tax right off for them plus placing their name ahead of everyone else. The real winners are those who are making the millions in advertising dollars as this is the #1 watched cable show on TV. Discovery is mining the pockets of the advertisers.

Remember this is a reality show, nothing can be believed. The gold shown could be ALL staged or purchased. Also these are paid actors/miners drawing a weekly paycheck from Discovery. Its in the best interest for all involved to keep this show running year after year to keep lining the pockets.

I gave up long ago, too much convient drama, I don't like day time soaps either. If I want drama I can go stand on a local street corner and watch the goings on.
Just give me a gold pan and a stream Its all the drama I need.

If they think the environuts were bad up in the Klondike, just wait till Todd gets to Oregon!

Maybe they filmed the gold pile at Parkers place, then moved the gold to Todd's place to film it on Todd's table?
Maybe they didn't work at all this season, only when filming!

It's kinda like the NFL. Win, lose, or draw, they are all getting paid..... There are some characters I like, though. Beets, Doumit (sp), Rick, Dave, Gene, and all of the Beet's kids. Above all else, Freddie. If you could get all of them together working efficiently, you would have a hell of a crew. Good attitudes all around as well. Notice how I didn't mention Parker or Todd? That is because they are holding their men back. Parker def pushes, but he sinks morale every time he opens his mouth. Todd is a great manager in that he got the right people to do everything for him. Then, he tries to get in everything as well. He should sit in his trailer 24/7 and let the good guys run the show, Dave and Freddie.

Why did todd demolish that big conveyor? To save an hour of run time compared to moving it without damaging it?

He certainly wasted hundred of hours through out the season without a second thought.

I still enjoy the show, but whole thing is feeling too staged.

Oregon will be interesting, no water on top of the mountain where the gold is, Todd thinks pumping it two miles up hill won't be a problem.

Thank goodness Bering sea gold is about to start up again.

Watch gold trails it's a pretty good show its for miners by miners

Im not sure i have the dvds from the gpaa

Its a gpaa show so im sure it is one outdoor channel but its all about getting gold and differant ways to do it one of the best shows ive seen.

Wow, what a dramatic, drama filled drama decathlon.

Amazing how they can poop out another show, by taking tense moments and cut scenes from the year, smear it all together and serve it to us.

I guess as long as we watch it, they will keep serving them up.
