I would contact The British Museum as Silver Searcher will just try and lowball you on the price and sell it outright to them for a lot more than he paid (I know his style -- he did it to me with my carnelian-domed silver thimble that I found in England last summer) They (The British Museum) may be able to help ID the item and give you an estimate of its real value. But don't sell it to them outright! I would like to bid on it on eBay. You may also consider calling the Royal Albert Hall in London and ask to speak to the curator of the UFO related artifacts.....you should be able to find the phone numbers of both The British Museum & The Royal Albert Hall via Google. Good luck

I lost money on that thimble, it was silver Plated and had a hole It's true I do sell stuff to the BM, if you want to go direct, be prepared for a long wait to get paid, were as I would pay you direct...true a lower amount, but fair. I am shifting funds about as we speak.

Would I do that I have just had one of my drilling platforms go down in the North Sea, on top of this I have invested Zillions of Zimbabwe Dolars in looking for Gold in the UK So funds have to be shifted around....be patient.
