I found this the other day and I'm trying to figure out what this is, what time period, and their purpose. I've scoured the internet with no luck. I found it about 7" down at the water level during a low tide. Augustine has no waves really and is layered with lots of small rocks. It's at the Delaware River.
Any luck on what these could be? Are they maritime-related? It's a ferrous metal that was heavily rusted. I was able to get that off.
