I Have news for you Big Cy, I been with this post and every post that has been made since the beginning 3+ years ago, My self, Bio and piggman have worked on this for years when others made a couple attempts and walked away and did nothing but say " you are wrong" So don't go where you want to go and don't believe that cute little number that say's how many posts i have
So your saying you have 2 member id's which is against forum policy I do believe. I knew you were an imposter. Maybe they're your spy containers. :sign13:

I'll vouch for Tree-Ape. He quit this forum a long time ago because of all the **** that goes on here.

Sorry but all your 3+ years of research hasnt amounted to a hill of beans and you either keep ignoring the facts, dont read the posts or you are not comprehending.

Show me one clue that you have discovered? I would really love to see it.

Who is saying you are wrong and about what? :icon_scratch:

Sorry BC but I don't have to show you anything, I have kept in contact with piggman every since I left this site a couple years ago and any info I have found I have passed on to him. If I found out a positive proof today as to what these were it would never be posted, that would be Piggman's honor. Thats what I think of him and his find
That is so honorable of you.

I dont know who you are and I dont mean to be tough on you but time spent does not equal results. Would you be happy with someone that took 3+ years in an attempt to build a fence or the person that professionally intalled it in 2 days?

You aren't tough on me, I'm a big boy, I probably have boots older than you and been down the road with the best. As for the fence the United States has been building one between Mexico and the U.S. border for 8 years, aren't you proud of them?
lol 8)

Big Cy, all you want to do is squabble with anyone. The post would die if you would quit posting.

I guess you are referring to the thousands of correct IDs that are made day in and day out here at TN members. :dontknow: ...many made by myself..

How many correct ID's have you and tree-ape made? You sure love to criticize me. Ive probably made a thousand correct ID's myself, alone over the years. Your mean accusations posted against me earlier in this thread were uncalled for and certainly untrue.

Take my track record into consideration. Im not trying to argue or squabble as it may appear. I would not tell you something thats not true. You should listen to someone more experienced (with making IDs)

Ive read, solved, researched and witnessed a lot of IDs here atTN over the years, Ive met a lot of great people, very knowlegable people, but the truth is, from my experience, I dont think you are interested in solving your items.

Is there a way I could block this thread?

All I ask is to show another set of "these" pieces, gongi or whatever. Packaging would be nice, but not required, just an identical set showing what they are.

I was wondering.
If somebody found three table tennis ball in a football field, would he then ask for a whole pack of them to be convinced what they are ?? ::)

No, because other tennis balls just like any one you find, can be found anywhere. They are quite common. But if you found 3 volleyballs and said they were tennis balls then I would ask to see the packaging. Just because they are round doesn't make them a tennis ball. Tennis balls are everywhere, just show me another set of these, which are not found in apparently any store.

Same Idea; if you showed me 3 Metal balls
same size & Shape as Tennis balls
with olympic signs on them & Said Tennis balls,
I'd say show me the Package that says
"tennis Balls" or have somone show ones they have
that they Purchased & Played Tennis With.

Or prove to me they were sold as something
to Commemorate Tennis ? or the Olympics ?
Or carnival Prizes ? or even part of a carnival Game.

Would you be satisfied a Sword Stamped CSA
was confederate ?

I'm not even 100% sure they are Olympic.

was there Auto Races in the olympics ?

Everyone knows you cannot play tennis with metal tennis balls but
Koreans have told us that Korean Jacks can be played with plastic, metal and even glass stones.
The plastic jacks are weighted with metal bb's.

Some have sports icons, some have letters and some have sparkles.
Some have both icons and sparkles.

SWR found 2 new packages with Olympics and race car and I found a third (skating).

The 2002 logo is positively IDed as the World Cup in Korea.
They were found in heavily Korean populated Austin Texas.

A Korean video shows shiny copper colored stones without sparkles.

Are you sure you werent on the OJ Simpson jury? ;D

We have the Olympic logo, World Cup Korea, racing, basketball, volleyball...
they are sports in general... Sports Jackstones. We know they are not Olympic sanctioned.

I would also like to see a 2002-2003 package of these copper plated pot metal jacks.
If only we could read Korean.
We may learn something new but I doubt that it will change the consensus ID.
Maybe the $50 reward will help Piggman in his quest for an exact match.

Great find Goodyguy! :icon_thumright: :hello2:

Show some up close pics of the images in the plastic ones that match up with the metal ones.

They are not Olympic sanctioned Jeff.
They depict sports in general.
That is one reason why we cant find an exact package.

A while back someone found a link where Korean souvenirs for the Olympics were pulled off the market.
They sell this unsanctioned stuff in Korea all the time, not in America so that is a problem.
We also dont speak Korean and it makes it hard to search.

At least I was able to put most of the evidence on one page for easy viewing.

Thanks. But I would still like to see just one other set in existance. There has to be one, it was not a single manufactering act. Thaere has to be more of what ever it is out there. And so far, I have the ONLY ones! ;D

Maybe you could schedule a trip to Korea in your quest for provinence.

No slap to Good guy at all. I just want to see another set. I can cut a tennis ball and turn it into a trailor hitch, but it would still be a tennis ball......it can be proven with an exact match. That's what I am looking for as far as proof.

Yes I now see that you said thanks.

Piggman, if I ever commit a crime, I want people like you on my jury lol.

A new package of these limited edition Korean items may never be found.
This is 2010 and they were made in 2002-03.
Plastic is cheaper than pot metal and afterall they are made in Korea no doubt.
Nobody saves this junk. Kids play with them and lose them. You found them.

Like I said, I doubt that they were ever sold in the USA with the Olympic logo.

I'm working on it :icon_thumleft:

I just found a man in Korea selling gonggi on ebay I will message him this link for his input.

****If you would like to request a specific South Korean product, please message me. I live in downtown Gumi, South Korea, so it is easy for me to find what you want.****

I asked him to take a look. I also asked him if he has ever seen a metal set.
Perhaps he can even find a used matching set!
I will post his reply.

I will accept cash, pay pal, or money order. (to be donated to charity of course)

GG~
You can certainly keep trying Goody. :icon_thumright:
I tried that myself. I believe I emailed the same eBay seller.

Even though a Korean girl testified that she had a special glass set,
the responses that I received were that they are all made of plastic now.

I'm curious if you found a whole set also.
Or if there are still more designs to find there

I think there are more designs. They come 15 to a set and the designs appear to be random.

Heres a new one.
