Fortified position for lost village????

Thank you for the kind words. No I didn't see this until u pointed it out so thanks but the places I circled for you is what I was headed toView attachment 1471421

The layer in behind the circled areas, is what captures my eye. It looks like it was plastered and never got fire dried... all of the gray area shows filled in cracks and stones all the same color. Also just above them there is something near the right end that does not look natural.

First thing is... That pic should be your avatar!

Yep, it is definitely a one of a kind find!

100 X 100 is maximum size allowed for avatar on Tnet. for your approval ...

Save it to your computer.

On the top right of the screen while you are on Tnet, click on "Settings".

When that page opens, look in the column on the left under "My Settings" and click "Edit Avatar".

Upload whatever image you want to use.

You still may need to make it a little smaller, but try with it at that size first.
It will resize the pic some as it processes it into a
circle.
There is a little bit of trial and error to it , but Chadeaux has it framed just right.

That is your "HALLMARK " moment, and it validates your site.

That was the pic that I was looking for, to be your final question when I was working with you on my own. I'm glad that you got it posted!
And I'm very happy to see your thread doing so well.

I knew it was a great site, and your new family here at TNET is doing a great job. There is so much to see and learn in everything that you post.

Congratulations!!

I think your new avatar speaks volumes about your site.

Second thing is, I think that you may have sent a second pic from a different angle that looks as if this camera angle is from the front of the dog's body?!?! Not sure.

OK everyone time to move less than quater mile from where the last pictures where taken. This area is my favorite.so many neat things to see at this part or i think so... so we will start with a few of my favorite from that spot. Prospectormikel these maybe new to you also. Anytime you have little peep sights under these monuments you are supposed to look thru them and go to the places they show.Screenshot_2017-07-11-21-45-12 peepsight.jpg

especially when you see the whites of eyes as air space around a pupil center piece, which is exactly what this would be underneath if you were take a step or two to the left and look at the supports and the air spaces under it. Sometimes you will see pairs of them, telling you to look thru something closeby.

Here, the eye part was seen best in your first angle, I just didn't know for sure if it had the peep sights to go with it.
