Folks,

Being mostly a land detectorist don't find much in the way of gold rings...but have to admit this one is one of my favorites...Rolls Royce long service ring...the inscription is worn off so no way of returning it.

Feel free to add your favorite gold rings to the thread...the more the merrier...lol

Regards + HH

Bill

All right, here are a few of my own finds! 1st (w/ 3 views) wedding band, classic design custom engraved dated 1938. I called a TV station to see if they could help me locate the owner and return it for their 60th anniversary, but they said it would be a huge undertaking and not feasible. 2nd ring is two .25 ct. diamonds in 14k white gold-- this one made my month! 3rd says "Viet Nam Kong Hoa", 1975 warrior's ring in 18k, faux ruby w/ figure of Viet Nam over American Flag. 4th is a 14k (faux) ruby claddah, my fourth claddah, first in gold. 5th is 14k w/ 51 diamonds-- largest is Princess cut .2 ct center stone (.5 c.t.w.)

I have only found one, so it's a nobrainer, lol. Nothing special, and was found in my first year. I found none my second year.

Ah cmon. The white stuff isn't that bad. Keeps the ground from freezing. I dig a 1907 indian head yesterday. 6" of snow and 10 degrees lol
