Folks,

Being mostly a land detectorist don't find much in the way of gold rings...but have to admit this one is one of my favorites...Rolls Royce long service ring...the inscription is worn off so no way of returning it.

Feel free to add your favorite gold rings to the thread...the more the merrier...lol

Here's another one for the pot...dug a a circa 1920's school yard...probably belonged to one of the teachers....appears to have some age.

Found this earlier this year. My guess is it dates to late 1800s/early 1900s.

That's an awesome grad ring and probably pretty much the oldest one I've seen posted...not many people could afford one of those back in that era.....thanks for sharing.

First attempt did not post!
Again, My favorite was a class ring from 1931 which was found by me in a cherry orchard in 2004. The land owner is a friend of mine and we determined that the ring was his mother's and had been lost during the Summer of 1936. She was still alive at 88 and the ring was returned to her 68 years after it was lost. I think this may be a record for having a lost object returned to the ORIGINAL owner. She passed away just two weeks ago at 95 years of age.
A second ring is a Cartier found in the Carribean with just snorkel and mask.

All beautiful rings. My favs are the nefertiti bust and of course that Rolls one i pmed you about before.. Tagged the thread hoping people keep adding rings to this thread and get a huge collection going..that would be awesome
