A fellow Tnet member and I put in about 2 hours Labor Day morning and dug a first for me. Went back to the site where I found the 1852 gold dollar and 1859 seated half dollar. This site has a lot of trash in the top layers but as we get it out there are tons of good targets underneath. We are still focused on the same 30'x30' patch for the past few outings. As it has become a pattern I removed trash from the plug, rechecked the plug and get another signal. This is my first trime 1852 3 cent. Repeat process and with in 2ft I get a civil war eagle button. We think the button is off a kepi hat, my friend dug a regiment number and another button within feet apart at our last hunt. We decided to do some gold prospecting before I had to go and that resulted in a surprise. I literally gold panned my first complete Quartz Indian point ( arrow head). I don't come across these that often, usually broke in the corn fields. Thanks GL&HH
