You want proof, Art? How about this? There is absolutely no reason dowsing should work. Does that confuse you? It should, but not because it's any kind of complex thought, the type you are unable to grasp.

So you donot think that DOWSING works.
For all you doubters out there get involved in some SERIOUS RESEARCH for a change instead of sitting on your butts and running off at the mouth.
How do you think the Spanish were able to locate the Gold and Silver deposits that they discovered. It was not by using Metal Detectors.
Take some time and look into the Jesuits Priesthood.
Of course the word DOWSING is a new word and not an ancient word so you will have to dig a little deeper or have ANOTHER CUP OF COFFEE and bad mouth dowsing.
Now this is for all those that try and explain how dowsing works you are just as far off as those that say dowsing is not accepted as far as Science thinks.
It is a MENTAL thing and has nothing to do with Force fields, magnetic fields, sun spots or the stars.
I once set in a Medicine mans hut in Tueson AZ and watched him find water and all he did was draw lines in the sand. He was a YAKEE living in Pasque villege West of Tueson. I also watched a Medicine man in Sierra Leone West Africa do the same thing using sticks to locate diamonds. There is a temple in BUTAUN in the Himalay Mountains that give instructions on how to DOWSE-(for lack of a better word). Guess what? There is not a single MD in the whole place. There is no discussion about proving that this DOWSING works or does not work or what causes it to work-IT JUST WORKS-PERIOD.
I was at one time able to dowse just using my hands but as I got older and got diebetics I sort of got away from it. BUT I am now getting back into this simply because I CAN.
I am the person that has not ridden a bicycle for a long long time-I know what to do but my balance is a little unsteady.

HIO Pegger: No problem, and yes I do understand. Dowsing does work for me, proven many times in the Sierras, BUT, not 100 %, of the time, so I do use the MD's etc. also, whatever it takes hehee.
