Thanks for commenting!

yes, your are right.... There WAS more. So much more!

I also have been following this topic with great interest.

BVI I understand your not being able to update us on what has transpired since your last publicly posted finds here, but will you ever be able in the future to give us an update as to the scale of what you have discovered?

Ha!!

thought i could slip in a quick post without this thread going crazy again :BangHead:

FYI - I now dig up old kitchen appliances (namely Irons) full time now, and hope to open a used goods store, selling Irons, Nail clippers, old bottles etc!!
please come and visit!!

:laughing7::laughing7::thumbsup:

I like it! :laughing7:

Yeah, those big iron pipe pots used to cook food faster than a microvave oven. However, it is hard to eat the food when it's plastered all over the side of an opposing ship, right!!??:BangHead::dontknow::laughing7:

Wow ... it does not get any better that this! Great for you!

No, it doesn't.

And unlike others, my interest with this thread, and what I really am eager to learn, isn't what may have been found.
It's the process that BVI chose, and why he chose it. It's the logistics of how he proceeded throughout this. Who did or didn't help, and why. Legal hurdles. Homemade equipment. Outside professional help. The mistakes. The scares of losing everything.

I'll bet that there is fascinating story here other than the number of sewer pipes, the material the train tokens are made of, and size of the soccer balls.
It is something we all dream of, and what comes after the find may be just as much fun as the find itself!

Well i just read this whole thread today, Its 2:02am here and i had too much coffee.
This is something special, words cant really describe it. Either BVI, you have been blessed or as a early accuser said a scam.
To me it doesn't even matter, it is one heck of a great story, worthy of a book and inspirational.
There was a point though when the information, photos etc just dropped off and was kind of a sad ending.
I have a feeling BVI struck a deal with someone and is sipping his pina coloda somewhere while juggling a scooper and a gold plated MD with a worry free retirement plan. And thats alright too, isn't that what we all want one day from a great find? I dont know him, but i feel like i do now and couldn't be happier for him :)

Wow! That's a lot of reading!!
apologies for the topic going off-subject in places due to humor etc, and I apologies if you thought it an abrupt ending.
I can assure you things did not end but continue with the professional help of local experts.

Kylee.

Don't worry too much about not hearing from BVI he's just gone back in time to discover more locations, well he must be a time traveller, clairvoyant or just a really annoying lucky ( or of course hard working) treasure hunter.........good for BVI and the rest of us if he can post a bit here and there... BVI. Keep posting you are nearly at a thousand posts.

There you are! Haven't seen you post in a while. You know, I think I must have stolen some of your dive gear. All my lead weight are stamped "SADS" LOL!

I figured as much, professionals i imagine are very pursuant about leak of information, photos etc that could be use in historic material, books, publications or even them pesky thief's etc later, but no doubt any possible gag order will be well worth it i think. And nope i didnt mind the banter at all other then where it got a bit rude imo. A good story never lacks flavoring or humor. I look forward to whatever the plan for a story is when you get done with it all, such a life changing event really deserves to be told.

YOU LUCKY GUY!!!!!!!

YOU LUCKY GUY!!!!!!!

VERY lucky
And I emphasize the word LUCKY, as any "skill" on my part was negligible :notworthy:

SO glad that 'those who know their stuff' are involved'

BVI... It's great to see the "Great and Powerful OZ, oh I mean Thread" get resurrected! You are on a roll to hit the 1,000 mark of posts like Kevin (SADS 669) stated. Maybe you could post a group shot of some of the finds (all cleaned up and purty) that are related to this Thread and have already been shown but all shown together this time. That would be great! We understand that there are probably some items that you can't put in the group shot and will just have to live with it until your' book hits the Book Stores.

As far as the luck is concerned. If it is not partially due to skill, it has to be more than luck as you are the only person I know that could drive Kevin's little Fiat head-on into a ragging Hurricane and come out on the other side driving a stretched Mercedes Limousine!:icon_scratch::toothy2:

View attachment 1016184 I think also Frank he would probably come out smelling of roses instead of seaweed as you and I would.......oh well us mere mortals can only dream.

LOL!! You got that right! I would probably smell more like a bunch of crabs that had been left in a bucket too long in the sunlight.

By the way, how does a big guy like you, get into such a small car like that? Are you a contortionist? LOL!!

Frank, do you thnk Kylee meant you and me when she said the posts got a bit rude?

I don't think Kylee was referring to either one of us or even Limitool! I think the reference was to the nasty naysayers, saying that BVI's finds are a hoax or scam.

Good luck to you on your current adventure! Hey, maybe you could borrow BVI's treasure hunting buddy to go along with you on your adventures.:dontknow:
