I remember my first ship wreck...

But seriously... I just get in to this stuff and I find a Viking burial and a pirate ship wreck full of goodies? Makes me kind of depressed :( Still buying an AT Pro! Congrats BVI!

You can count me in on that statement as well!

Frank... How's that cave rover you've been working on this winter coming along? Make sure it has enough range so we can sit on my deck by the pool and send it back into the cave. Put some cup holders on it also please. Oh yea... and please make the "real time" video feed high resolution. We don't want to miss something. And for heavens sake don't go over the $50.00 budget.

Brad,

I gave up on the Cave Rover when I did a cost to benefit analysis! Why spend tons of money to build a machine to explore a Cave that will eat up a lot of money on batteries when I have you??!! Your mom and dad made you so no cost to me and as long as I give you some flashlight batteries, a bologna sandwich and a beer every now and then, then we are good to go. A Rover can't report findings as you can and as long as you keep the pi##ing and moaning below a moderate level, I am good with that! LOL!!

P.S. Shiite, I just realized that I am really the only true Gold prospecting buddy you have as Jordan is a newbie and doesn't count!

Ok Frank.... We'll call it even for now.... but I still want that rover. And I want it before Spring... delivered (I need your help). I'll feed, water, wine and dine ya. And if it works out we'll head to Florida and help BVI and see how it works TOTALLY underwater (not partially).

Westfloridahunter,

The information and pics at the link below to Brad's Thread "Metal Detectiing TN. cave / Anybody done this?" should answer most of your questions. Yes, an MD would help but it would have to be like most Underwater Metal Detectors which automatically adjust for Ground Balancing and compensate for highly mineralized ground which this cave has.

Hev BVI! This still alive? not so much interested in the details of your progress, just curious if you're progressing on your goal here.

Hope you're keeping notes to write a book. I'll have mine autographed by you if so.

VI - I hope you went back and check this site for more!? This is very rare when you find a stack like this. And, IT MEANS THERE ARE MORE!!!! NEAR BY!!! Have you found more? This nice stack means they were stacked together with either more coins or in something. Good luck.

Hey Captain, Did you find enough of those sewer pipes to complete the field drain for your' septic system? Must be a B**** to cut the closed end off those 1200 pound + sewer pipes and then weld them together, plus, since they are so short, it takes a lot of them to get the job done!
