Did you know it is illegal to keep feathers?

Any birds that are hunted legally in the USA, the feathers can be kept. If you find a song bird feather on the ground it is illegal to take it because it is covered under the migratory bird act. Same as hawks, eagles owls and falcons.

Well, I guess i am in trouble. An Indian out west gave me an OWL feather for luck and it worked. I will follow the cold dead hand theory! Frank~
