It's funny this conversation is actually as rational and likely as some of the others on the chat board here. Some of you guys should whip out a script or two. A Red Dawn where instead of Russians its the us government and the UN and yes the zionists taking over. What about all those sherrifs who have stated they will ignore any changes that violate the 2nd amendment. Seems like cops are on the side of 2nd amendment...don't think they would be a problem. Besides, if cops fire on civilians then the president orders in the national guard to take down the cops.

Big ammo order. Non military. Human shape paper targets. Have not found where use is for more than a few hundred employees. Hollow points are not normal practice bullets,also cost more than round nose or wad cutters. Stockpiles despite economy can be considered a hedge against inflation,or as has been suggested by a suspicion theorist, companies may be instructed to produce a propellant with a short shelf life. Cornering the market to cause a shortage has been thrown out there too. The departments ordering and others(?)have ordered weapons too. Defence type shotguns included. would make a good piece to investigate by an even keeled media source. The amount and type and destination is what brought attention,standard procedure or purposeful statement?

Nobody thinks it's funny in my opinion.. But I will say this threaten a mans family, livelyhood,or rights and way of life and that man will stand up for his beliefs.. Not saying as you put it a read dawn would be a picinic but I for one would do anything within my power to defend my home and my family and my way of life because they are things that I hold very dear to my heart.. I am proud to live as free as I do and am grateful that so many soilders gave their time and lives to give me this way of life.. If I would not be willing to defend that or stand up for my beliefs all their efforts would have been in vain and they deserve better than that and so do I as do any other Americans that treasure their way of life.. Just my opinion..

There is no insult in my post, your mock some of us by saying we should write a script for a movie on this that we could star in, well it is serious to us and there are some of us who have been under fire and know the fear and anxiety of it so I asked for your military experiences under fire since you seem to question our rationality about real war and reality.......

Your post is the one that is insulting as you mock the thread and the members posting in it, even willing to bet some get all excited dreaming about it and being a hero. Well real war is no hollywood movie, being shot at is not fun it is scarry, there is fear and anxiety, but there is also something else, there is the satisfaction of knowing your fighting for a worthy cause, in this case our freedoms now and for our grandkids in the future if it comes to it..….​

Crispin some of the military could indeed fire on the people, I do not think as a whole the military would fire, that is where the power keg comes in because if some do fire the fuse has been lit. The sheriffs and police have been coming out on the side of the Bill of Rights and the Constitution as they all swear an oath to the Constitution first, they would resist the military if they tried...... The thing is I don't think it will be so much the military we need to be concerned about as it would be HLS...

The good thing is the police, sherrifs, police and sheriffs asociations, towns, cities and states have been coming out in support of the people of their states in support of the 2nd amendment in the Constitution.... I expect we will see some of the bills clearing both houses of individual states and becoming law nulifying any new people control (gun control) laws...... Some have already said they will not honor or support any people control law passes after January 1st 2013....

I don't care if it is passed by a Rep or a Dem, violating the Constitution is violating the constitution... The issue with the drones is helping to push the issues even more....We have multiple states publically resisting the people control, obamacare and drones in the form of bills before state congress to outlaw the issues in their states..... With out local law inforcement to support them the only way to enforce it is to declare martial law and try to call in the military or HLS........

Does King O want to go down in history as being the president that fired on the people and broght the country to a civil war, not much of a positive legacy there, but a lot of infamy...........

No doubt about that. If the country ends up in civil war over the current 2nd amendment dust up then that would definitely make Obama the worst president ever. Maybe I am a youthful optimist, but I think he would back down before that. Do you really think the chances of mass blood shed are fifty percent? How many lives do you think would be lost?

Another question: I know that you are physically fit and active. I have no doubt in your ability to defend yourself, your family, and your friends. What percentage of people that would be against the government would be in that category? How many of these activists are disabled or too out of shape to put up much of a fight? If it really came down to it, the first thing the government would do is cut the power. How many of these activists could do without plumbing and heat? Not to mention cutting off medical supplies. How many diabetics needing insulin? How many cardiac patients needing medications?

Now you can make the position that one can bed down in a bunker with a generator and years worth of supplies. However, what kind of life is that? They would run out eventually...and when they did, guess who is waiting outside for them...
