Curse of Oak Island, Season 3

The elder Blankenship said that they beheaded the corpse while sinking one of the pipes.... said they brought up some chain, didn't mention any neoprene. Immediate conclusion was a slave was chained to one of the posts in order to have his ghost protect the "treasure". Was cool to see all the shiny new excavation equipment rolling in there, though..... no rusty, half-dead p.o.s.'s like on Gold Rush! *L* Kinda deprives the History Channel folks of one of their favorite dramatic pauses - equipment failure....

Could the Lagina Brothers have found the location of "The Masonic Altar Room"?

What has been described as being found:
Female Statue, Wooden Chests, Pillars, Pick, Chains all are items that could be found in a Masonic Altar Room!

Fun to watch but all garbage, things don't add up...Plus if they find anything good, it will be all over the news way before the show episodes come out...hope I didn't spoil it...

of course it would hit the news first.
Because it would increase the Viewers once everyone finds out they will actually see something.

to keep it secret till it airs on the show would be like cutting their nose off to spite their face.

plus once something is found the sneak Peak Previews would air during every commercial break. it's all about the Viewers. the more Viewers the more they can charge for adds during the show.

There is an entire section already on the board regarding Oak Island. Oak Island

All those items could be from a Masonic Altar or possibly from a garage sale

So funny.....one of the Beale Papers items...the box with the key, was found in a Flea Market in PA......LOL

the sword prob a lost replica, that island dosent look big enough to
handle all those tunnels, youd think they would fill with water and
seep up through the ground

well since the tunnels were apparently dug by Magical Slaves,
I guess they could Magically stay Dry till someone trips the Secret Trap button :laughing7:

the sword even if real doesn't prove it wasn't planted by a past treasure hunter who
was hoping to live long enough to use it as an excuse to ask for more financing $$$$$.

cool relic Find if not planted by production though

there should be plenty of relics on the island.

more Metal Detectors ! Hint Hint !

All us must keep the faith that the brothers will bring up treasure. If not this season, maybe next season, or the next season.

I already have faith in my convictions, Why would I need help ?
besides.. this thread is about Oak Island, Season 3 .
not me. let's keep it that way

I'm gonna watch the show and be rooting for them. Hope they find something. Watching the show is kinda like reading a book. You gotta start with chapter 1 and you gotta read all the story all the way to the end. Thats what the weekly shows are, like chapters in a book. I have fun watching anyway. No one is making anyone watch, if you don't like the show, don't watch :dontknow:

Why do they call it the War Room? Who the hell are they fighting? :dontknow:

I'll guess "War Room" comes from either egos or suggestion from production.

Last night I barely got through the show. I kept nodding off
So forgive me if I got some things wrong but..

first They go after a ferrous target instead of one with precious metal.
I understand this one was shallow, but once they located it, Confidence should have soared. at least if that dig wasn't BS .

They believe in a mythical Treasure buried by people who were afraid of
witches & a flesh & blood Devil. didn't think people could fly & would have burned
Ellen Brennan at the stake right after she landed.

they only recently found out ships didn't sail off the end of the world, or get eaten by sea serpents.

But something invented, tested and actually used by the government is not trustworthy ?

though separating finds & saying gold here, silver here, Diamonds here
seems too good to be true to me.

I'm glad they Drilled a spot said to contain gold.
But instead of looking for the Gold, they looked for Tunnel
& when they hit water they decided it as Natural because they were on an Island.
and hit the water table at about 100 feet..
Yet the water in the money pit was a trap :laughing7:

This show just gets funnier & funnier  Now if I can just stay awake while watching. it really hurts to Strain to keep my eyes open.
I may try to re-watch before deleting if I get the chance

Jeff - agree on all points.. One wonders if the Laginas and Co. are cringing after seeing each episode portray them as credulous fools with more money than sense...or perhaps they're laughing all the way to the bank.

Why so negative ? These guys are out there looking for treasure, probably making money from the show and having a good time. Looks like a win, win, win to me.

it Just gets Frustrating trying to figure out what is really going through their Minds.
logic seems to be ignored in favor of keeping things unknown.
I respect them as Treasure Hunters, but disrespect their logic.
it is just very hard to distinguish what is their opinions & what is The Producers dragging things
away from reality.

So much so, I even have reservations on whether they are real Treasure Hunters
or actors following a script.
