CRISPINS CRITTERS

Having no camera seems to provide missed opportunities. If captured accurately.
A pair of pilated woodpeckers been around all winter(huge birds!).
Place up the main road with firewood for sale sign in yard dropped(chain sawed)giant oak, catching side of house. Would have been hard keeping a straight face asking for permission to photo, get that sign in it,click.

Ah, yes. Those specie of woodpeckers are as big as crows!
I've seen them on several camping trips. Well, mostly HEARD them!
Sounds like freaking jackhammers!
Probably take at least two to make a decent sammich...

Right now, Scott is thinking of his Otis cat.....

I'm whistling.....

BackBacon: I need an emergency contingent plan in case our supply of Guinness runs out.

Previously, being a part of an educational exchange program involving the North and South of Ireland... It's all good. I will be able to provide a constant supply of Guinness and Buckfast as is deemed necessary by our membership.

('cause of the songs!)

Best,

Scott

PS.

The name "Otis" came to me from "Otis Spunkmeyer."

Anyone else ever hear of such?

"Roust! Schnell, (german swearword)! Gehen sie macht schnell!

Can I say, "Hundescheiß?"

If not, please disregard....

Thanks for allowing me the memories....

Best,

Scott

It's "Raus"! :p

Always makes me chuckle when Americans throw the "we saved you speaking German" rubbish at me. More Americans learnt German due to the Nazis than anyone in England! :)

"A farewell to arms" quote stands on my wall...Hemingway had a profound effect on me.

stockpicker: I tried to get in touch with you but it won't allow me to PM you.

Would you mind contacting me, please?

Last i read of Earnest was the Toronto years. By a northern author.

Hmmm, quote from a farewell to arms,"they arrested us after break fast". Not likely too inspirational but short enough to remember.

Hows it go,... war is not won through victory. Another.

PS. Need a bit more wood for the fire if you like your coffee hot.

I'll hold the light....

No dishes to clean tonight.

What do you have in mind for dinner tomorrow night upon an open fire?

You dream it, I'll make it!

Now, one more cup of coffee, my friend!

Best,

Scott

Too often dry and tough frying. Besides the effects of to much fried food. Easy way to acquire the beginnings of a healthy meal though Reb!.

Think they serve it on Carnival Cruise Ships! LOL!
