CRISPINS CRITTERS

Pat cat I like the music fellow red neck haha. My son got married this weekend. I tried to talk him out of it. Of course a new daughter-in- law is never good enough for the wife. He's definitely a momma's boy. My 12 year old grandson, his nephew was his best man. That was cool. I had no part in the wedding, that way no blame can ever be put on me in the future......well our part was only financial, paying for a majority of the wedding on the beach........ Now if my daughter will just get married . I'm all of a sudden craving sushi! Where the heck did that thought come from I have no idea hahaha. Glad to see you posting Pat cat. Where's Scott?

note how close are the thoughts: wish my daughter would get married and where is Scott?

Jeff, my Friend,

When a batter strikes out, what does he do?

He sits his a$$ on the bench and watches the game....

"For it's one, two, three strikes and you're out,
At the ole ball game."

By the way, have you a picture or two, perhaps? :laughing7:

My Best Wishes,

Hoping for a TD?

OK.

I'll play.

I'm still spry for my age.

You should have seen me chase down them damn kids from my lawn.

No one was killed, yet some were tortured with my stories of the past....

My Best Wishes,

For my Friend, Bill,
And all of you other crazy folks who live where you see snow more than once a year....

My Best Wishes,

Scott

And especially for my Friend, Crispin.

Where you be hiding?

A good spot, yes?

Hope you are well, my Friend....

Best Wishes,

Scott

2GF,

It's from a sports field in my area....not that old probably circa 1940 or so....the site has been hit very hard by me and others....but every once in awhile it still gives up the occasional keeper.

Regards + HH

Bill

Bill,
That's a sweet find!
Hopefully the next one you find, YOU will wear.
Say,
Heavy 18k gold with a quarter carat anything.....

As long as I still got Rob Zombie runnin' though my head,
drowning out 7 of the 9 voices I hear,

Let's go ahead and play this song from one of my favorite;
Saturday night, pop some popcorn,
turn off the lights and play this movie!

Hope all are Well!

Get out and enjoy the beautiful weather of the Fall Season.

Y'all know what's coming next......:coffee2:

Best of Wishes Always,

Scott

Bill,

By the way,
The design is called a "meander" design.
There are several different variations as seen here....

https://www.google.com/search?q=mea...v&sa=X&ei=28ZBVK63J46nyAS63YGQAg&ved=0CB0QsAQ

I'm sure that all peoples have come upon all variations, from ancient Romans, the Aztecs, Native Americans, the Norse, etc.

Just food for thought....

(If I was makin' a gold ring for someone who liked that pattern, There appears to be more empty spaces than gold. Greater profit for the craftsman?)

And yes, I can make jewelry.
Handwrought or Lost Wax Casting.
Can you say, "Battern's self-pickling flux?"

I once worked for a jeweler.
Learned watch repair, before battery type watches, and even more.
Was paid in loose diamonds.

Had advanced Jewelry and Silversmithing in High School and hung out at a night course at the University of Kansas when I was in High School.
The University of Kansas was literally in my Back Yard!
25 steps to the west from my back door, of a private residence, and I was on University Property.
Yeah, my Mom always threatened to kick me out and rent my room to a KU student if I didn't watch my "P's & Q's."

I'm sure that you've heard that story, or one similar, right?.....:icon_scratch:

Best Wishes,

Scott

I've got an old White's Coinmaster,
in pieces,
and I finally got a new soldering iron.

Time (and finances) tell me that it's time to put it back together and get it functioning properly to sell on Feebay.

I'll post pics when available.

It's been sitting with the spiders in the crawl-space for about 3 years.....

FIRST,
I'll check to see if prices realized warrant the expenditure of my time.....:dontknow:

It's probably not the best time of year; best would be in the spring.

But,
We'll see.

Best,

Scott

"RUT ROW!"
Did someone mention, "Warrant?"

(Look at that "Wall" of Marshall amps....{Yeah, let me hook up a Gibson or a Ricky to this stack and y'all stand back....!})

Got ya covered, Bro!

Hey 2 G.F., maybe one of those kind nurses could get you an application for, I.H.O.P..( I-Hop).:laughing7:

You know,

I've read your post 3 times now and it seems that you have a unique sense of humor.

Let me guess.....
You enjoy Gary Larson and you will snicker when someone trips on the sidewalk.

Right?

OK.

Time to get real.

Study now has a new meaning.

Here's a "taste."

(Notice the Marshall amps?)

Got some "Study Music" for a Friend?

Full concerts or albums are best.....

Post, Please!

Always,

Scott

Example:

From about 10 years ago,
In full,

The Alan Parsons Project.....

Full screen? You bet!

A song from the very first album that I ever owned.
Before extortion, I mean negotiation with my sister, having learned how to pick the lock on her Diary and extracting information.

I became Friends with a neighbor who attended KU while I was in High School.

We talked much about music, Viet Nam and other subjects.

He gave me this album.

From my teen years.

Enjoy!

Best,

Scott

OK.

One more album to help with my studying.

Rick Wakeman has always been a prolific keyboardist,
From his contributions to
the group "Yes," the "Strawbs,"
or work with Elton John or Cat Stevens......

Another "early" album that I, ahem, "acquired."

His performance is incredible.
I've seen it performed live and am searching to no avail for posting.....

Good Night, my Friends and
May you enjoy your Fall Weekend!

Always,

Scott
