Here it is....

Late one afternoon I was "cleaning the tables" before the "college crowd" came in.

(Perhaps I've told the story of my Pop and I hustlin' pool?)

I attended classes there once.....
even tried out for the Baseball team...

My Buddy Jim was at the bar. (behind the bar, the bartender, an employee)

I had just got a pitcher from him when the drunk Gorilla waked in.

Our eyes met and he stormed to me, snarling and full of anger....

He accused me of being with his wife.... :icon_scratch:

He said that he was going to kill me.

Folks,

That's code words for, "Really?"

He grabbed a pool cue and swung it at me.
I turned my back and the pool stick shattered on my back.....

As he rushed me, I grabbed a pool ball, I think it was either the 2 ball or 12 ball,

and mashed it into his forehead.

Well, he fell like a sack of taters and the blood gushed.


My Buddy Jim Said,
"Get your a$$ out the back before the cops come and I didn't see anything."

Have I been to a bar since?

I am awaiting five big packages from ups later today. I can't wait to get them! I'll post some pictures after they are installed on my Jeep Wrangler. I just hope the rain holds off as my old dodge has my garage pretty much plugged up any the moment...

Bill, the shipment arrived and I can't wait to install them. I am going to try to clear out my other bay in my garage tomorrow and get them installed. Sounds like we have some heavy rain tomorrow so that rules out doing it outside. I will for sure post pics as soon as possible.

DNA testing is taking a bite out of the Bigfoot legend. After scientists analyzed more than 30 hair samples reportedly left behind by Bigfoot and similar mythical beasts like the Himalayan Yeti, they found all of them came from more mundane creatures like bears, wolves, cows and raccoons. In 2012, researchers at Oxford University and the Lausanne Museum of Zoology issued an open call asking museums, scientists and Bigfoot aficionados to share any samples (like the one at right above converted to DNA) they thought were from the legendary apelike creatures. "I thought there was about a 5 percent chance of finding a sample from a Neanderthal or (a Yeti)," said Bryan Sykes of Oxford University, who led the research. The results were published online this week in the journal Proceedings of the Royal Society B. Sykes and colleagues tested 36 hair samples from Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Russia and the United States using DNA sequencing. All matched DNA from known animals.

Seems like that would be hard to say with a straight face when signature's are massive political statements attached to each and every post... just sayin...
