Rut roh is right! My best friend is in Sydney, and I LOVE their accent(but not the thick bloakey English one). While visiting. My friend tells me, most in Oz, would consider MY accent exotic! LOL!
Go figure! I'm almost as hick as they come!

Most everyone I was with in Oz, spoke Arabic, talk about confusing a cat!
