CRISPINS CRITTERS

It's a "done deal."

However, being old,
my hearing ain't so good....and the crackling of the campfire, anyway....

Seems like I was wrong about two new Charter Members......

We welcome THREE new Charter Members!

The Friends that I've made on Treasurenet will be a part of me until I breathe my last.

The advice, knowledge, "cutting-up," the temporary rifts, misunderstandings,
Consoling, recipes, and just "Hangin' Out"
has brought me great joy and happiness.

I hope that y'all feel the same.

I would truly love to personally meet each and every one of ya!

Perhaps one day,

A National or regional Treasurenet Member get-together....

I'd bet someone's already beat me to that idea,

But, if anyone hears of such ideas,
Please post on this thread!

Y'all be good to one another....

My Best,

Scott

As a PS,

I'd like to offer my Heartfelt Respect, Admiration and Thanks
to Crispin for bringing us all together via this thread and the many conversations we've privately had.

And Thanks to all of the "Peacemakers."
Your role has been and will be vital in this thread's longevity.
Y'all know who you are.....

But most of all I want to thank the "collective group."
As diverse and from different regions as we are, we have formed a
small enclave in this Fantastic website.

This could not have happened in many of our members early years.

Ya know, the interwebs and such.....

Being able to converse, real time, on a TV screen?

My TV only got 3 channels...if the rabbit ears were positioned right.
And the weather was right.

So, for the oldtimers, like myself,
I offer this pearl;

Get hip or get old and left behind!

Best,

Scott

Scott,

My sentiments exactly, we have something that we can continue to carry with us to the end of days.
all from different backgrounds, heritages, economic and social standings....
here all that doesn't matter. We have transcended that. Somewhere, sometime, and under the right conditions, we all will meet and break bread.......Gary

The baby got into Eva's food today and Eva then got into the baby's food. They have been fighting over each others' toys for the last few days. The baby walks up and takes the toy out of Eva's mouth. Eva then starts barking at the baby. The baby finds this to be absolutely hilarious and cracks up laughing. Eva then grabs the toy back and runs off. The baby trails after her and Eva drops the toy on the floor. From then on out it is all out warfare, Eva tries to lick the baby back and the baby lowers his head and plows forward toward the toy. Baby gets licked and tail gets pulled, then I have to break things up. Eva is looking forward to plundering Guinness tomorrow.

Hey, Guy (in back),

Haven't seen you on the boards here at Treasurenet for a while.

What was the last thread that we both posted on?

Such a website....
where you run across old friends, wonder whatever happened to...
and make new friends with similar interests.

Good to cross paths again.

Best,

Scott

PS.
I don't "get" you post....:dontknow:

Crispin,

Glad to see your humor is intact.....odds are good you haven't gotten overly abused at work.....1 more day of toil and then some well deserved Guinness....

Regards + HH

Bill,
You just beat me to it. We were typing at the same time. This week has been brutal. Will try and fill you in tomorrow if I can escape.

PS.
I don't "get" you post....:dontknow:

Nothing really to get- just stray neurons manifesting themselves into incoherent thoughts on a public forum...

Unless you are able to read the subtle little hints obscurely buried deep into the one's and zero's of basic binary code.

Kids and animals....
So similar in so many ways....
The most important is to love them!

Pardon my digression,
But has there not been research studies that indicate human levels of antigens,
that assist with the finer levels of antibodies that are created early in life by casual exposure?
(short of sharing a "binky")

Hmmm...Uncle Scott says,
"Let the children play with the animals."

My Mom always encouraged a love for animals for me,
and look how I turned out! :tongue3:
(I'd be a "cat lady except for at least two glaring reasons: I'm not a lady and I can't afford it!)

Best,

Scott
