CRISPINS CRITTERS

I've also wasted(?) a few hours contemplating the Beale Code.

My deductions reveal there is no correlation of the first code with Genesis, nor Matthew. (KJV)

Perhaps the Magna Carta?

Everyone knows that the second is deciphered with the Declaration of Independence.

Best,

Scott

PS.

My thought is a location in Louisiana.....
Think of pirates....

Here's one they don't play on the radio much anymore...

And here's one that I played on the radio as a Guest DJ back in the early 80's,
on WYMX, Augusta, Georgia....

I won the opportunity to be a guest DJ by answering a question;
"How many grooves are on both sides of a standard 33 1/3 rpm LP album?"

I was allowed to play any songs that I wanted, but, after talking to the program director prior to my scheduled
appearance, I found that many songs that I wanted to play were not in their music library,
so I had to bring in several of my own albums.

Remember, this was before computers and such....

Best,

Scott

PS.
What was the correct answer to the question?

As the guest DJ, I tried to "mix it up," as it was a rock station.
So I included this with a "shout-out" to a fellow local MP that I served with...

I had an hour to spin discs and I made the most of my time...
in between giving the weather and ad promos....

RC my Friend,

A toothache is the most painful thing the human body can experience.
Right ahead of a burn.

I hope that your Dentist can prescribe a smoking cessation program for you, if you are interested.
Ask him.

I quit smoking after 30 years with the help of nicoderm.

I feel that my health overall has increased to the point that I will outlive all of my enemies!

I, for one, love ELO. Does anyone know if there was really anything hidden in their songs?

Jeff,

Haven't heard of any "spurious" lyrics concerning ELO,

But here's a tune from an 8 track that I was playing in my 67 Galaxy 500, 289 V-8 when the tape went to "garble."

I pulled over, yanked the player from the mount, threw it in the ditch and have cursed 8 tracks since.

Enjoy!

Scott

I liked all of ELO's songs that made the radio. T_H, we must be from the same generation

Jeff,

I'm sure that you know that Jeff Lynne from ELO was part of the group, "The Travelling Wilburys."

Along with Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Tom Petty and Roy Orbison.....

Here's their first album, in it's entirety, for your pleasure!
