CRISPINS CRITTERS

I woke last night, from a dream, a man breached my security, a blur, a shadow, I fired my weapon.....
The Bogie was hit.....
The bogie died.

I awoke, with one of my 9 mm pistols in my hand.

Is Scotty ready?

Yeah....
Bring it....

Scott

Blues?

How 'bout this?

Don't stop believing that you can make a difference.
Give your best and no one will ever deny that you tried.....

When you give all that you have, know that you are a Vet. An American, and you have given all.

And America salutes you. :coffee2:

Don't you love the blues? Even this modern Stiuff?

And, within a fortnight, you will realize what I mean when I say, "Crazy on you."

Enjoy my pleasure, for soon I will no longer be here.....
My presence is denied for much longer......
Age and physical conditions rule.....
So says the VA....
Folks, let me tell you that I am here, STRONG as a bull and I will be here for a long time.
And I have a hand on my 9 mm waiting for an idiot to be a fool.....

And tomorrow was Christmas Day
If today was Christmas Eve, and tomorrow was Christmas Day
Aw, wouldn't we have a time, baby?
All I would need my little sweet rider just
To pass the time away, huh-huh
To pass the time away
You sprinkled hot foot powder, mmm
Mmm, around my door, all around my door
You sprinkled hot foot powder
All around your daddy's door, hmm-hmm-hmm
It keep me with ramblin' mind, rider
Every old place I go, every old place I go
I can tell the wind is risin', the leaves tremblin' on the tree
Tremblin' on the tree
I can tell the wind is risin', leaves tremblin' on the tree
Hmm-hmm hmm-mmm
All I need's my little sweet woman
And to keep my company, hey, hey, hey
My company

Do you not understand?

What Freedom is?

I served to protect and defend Freedom, and you cannot tell me why I promised my life for you?

Forgive me while I cry for your ignorance.....

"When a man loves his Country more than himself, A Patriot is Born. And soon, a revolution is formed....."

Political post? Who will be the judge.....

I went to the crossroad, fell down on my knees
I went to the crossroad, fell down on my knees
Asked the Lord above "Have mercy, now save poor Bob, if you please"
Yeoo, standin' at the crossroad, tried to flag a ride
Ooo eeee, I tried to flag a ride
Didn't nobody seem to know me, babe, everybody pass me by
Standin' at the crossroad, baby, risin' sun goin' down
Standin' at the crossroad, baby, eee, eee, risin' sun goin' down
I believe to my soul, now, poor Bob is sinkin' down
You can run, you can run, tell my friend Willie Brown1
You can run, you can run, tell my friend Willie Brown1
That I got the crossroad blues this mornin', Lord, babe, I'm sinkin' down
And I went to the crossroad, mama, I looked east and west
I went to the crossroad, baby, I looked east and west
Lord, I didn't have no sweet woman, ooh well, babe, in my distress

Perhaps I may soon move.

Houma, Louisiana?

I see a gator....
Where my rifle?
No rifle?
Lemme jump his ass.
Yee haw!

We gonna eat good tonight!
Houma is just southwest of New Orleans.
The economy is great.
And when I have my next vacation, I will check out land for sale..,....

Recently one Congressman from a Bible Belt congressional district was asked about his attitude toward whiskey.

The politician responded, "If you mean the demon drink that poisons the mind, pollutes the body, desecrates family life, and inflames sinners, then I'm against it."

He continued, "But if you mean the elixir of Christmas cheer, the shield against winter chill, the taxable potion that puts needed funds into public coffers to comfort little crippled children, then I'm for it. This is my position and I will not compromise."

Did y’all read that? I got a PM from The Martin Bayerle...... you know the Billion Dollar Wreck, the RMS Republic!!!!! He’s a very nice fellow. Man I’d love to meet him in the meantime pms are nice!!!!!!! He doesn’t seem to be anything like these 1715 Fleet folks.

The reason that I will soon be relocating is that my Landlord's house that he is building is moving along more rapidly than I'd prefer......
I will have to move when it is completed.

Houma, Louisiana has a distribution facility associated with the company that I work for now.
And, since I spent my last vacation in New Orleans, last September, I've become fond of the area.
Houma is only an hour south-west of New Orleans.

I'll meet this week with the Human Resource Director at my current job to discuss possible transfer to Houma in the coming year.
I've done some recon and already have a vacation planned again soon to visit the area.
I'll look into housing, land for sale and ability to continue my passion of helping Vets in Veterans Court.
Perhaps Judge Roberts can assist me in this endeavor....

Dang.
As I've gotten older, I've found that I'm not really keen on "changes."
That, and moving in itself is a pain.
Whether it is across the street or across the country.....

On another note, I've had several more correspondences about my 78 rpm's for sale.
My Blind Blake, The Texas Nighthawks and The Carroll County Boys will be heading to a collector in Tulsa.
I have an electric console player from the 60's, a "Morse," that plays 78 rpms,
and arranged a phone call with him to play the discs today, over the phone, after having sent him photos of the discs.
It appears that I will be able to sell another dozen or so to other collectors for about $1000 or more....
Although the electric console player has issues with the speed of the discs that are played, I will record the discs sold.

(Helpful image of a "Morse" console record player)

Some of the other discs being discussed for sale include:
Kokomo Arnold
Lonnie Johnson
Butterbeans and Susie
Ida Cox
Little Son Jackson
Susie Smith
Jelly Roll Morton
Blue Belle
Nora Bayes
Lillie Delk Christian

Here's the Blind Blake recordings....
(Playing 78's on a Victrola damages the discs due to the steel needles.
I prefer to play my discs on the electric player. Not quite the same "feel" but, the discs will last longer)

It takes some time and effort to record and download videos...

Got the laundry washed, dried and put away.
Dishes are done.

Supper is on the stove and a new week soon will be here.
Veterans Court is Tuesday and I've messaged a couple of the Vets that I mentor,
requesting that they accompany me in leading The Pledge of Allegiance. I received notice of agreement!

Hope all are well and have a pleasant week ahead.

Always my Best Wishes,

Scott

ADDED:
Since the bad dream of an intruder, I have put away the 9mm.
I replaced it with one of my .357 mags.
Won't need 2 hands to rack a slide.
Just one hand needed to pull back the hammer....8-)

SO many Changes ahead.....

Thank God that I'm a young old man.....
Regardless of what the VA said upon my last visit.

"You don't have long. Go home and wait to die."

Say WHAT?

If you have ever been to the VA for medical assistance,
you know that better health care is available waiting for you in line at your local Health Department behind the illegals....
Such a statement pisses me off.

I foresee a new revolution on the horizon.....
And, when the call to arms reaches me, know that I still pledge my life for Liberty and Freedom!
Although many are called, only Patriots will answer!
