Oh my gosh....... do you guys remember when I had jury duty not long ago? Well I cashed the $15.00 check for cash...... I just got a notice from my bank..... THE CHECK SHOWED INSIGNIFICANT FUNDS!!!! And charged me for it!!!!!!

The Victrola is nearly finished.
The broken spring is repaired, the cabinet has had an ample drink of "Murphy's" oil, all parts have been cleaned, oiled and/or repainted.
Re-assembly is complete.
All that is left is waiting for the porcelain knobs to arrive for the doors.
Purchased online.....

Soon, I will turn the crank, plate my favorite disc and melt back, possibly a hundred years, and enjoy a tune from an era long lost to the ages.

Went to a college baseball game tonight. Kid we played against in high school last season pitching 98 mph!!!!! 4 innings pitched. 7 strikeouts allowed 2 hits. He was offered 5 million out of high school by the Braves, but they withdrew after learning he had a wrist injury..... Carter Stewart is his name.
