Here's another version, for you my Friend. Some 50+ years later.....
The words still have meaning after all this time.
We continue to embrace the poignancy, don't we?

Will you walk on by?
I'd bet that you would.
Prove me wrong.
Post your experiences of helping the homeless.
The "Holiday Season" is upon us.
How have YOU helped those less fortunate....
Especially a VET!

Me? I'll be found on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day helping the local Church to serve meals for my family.
Those who need.
As usual.

Be Well my Friends.

Scott

We won tonight 11-4. My boy didn’t start, the usual infield had a combined 6 errors. My boy pitched the last two innings. He had 3 strikeouts, 2 pop fly’s and a kid grounded out to first base. That my friends is a no hitter!!! I tell him keep his chin up. I call him the Closer. Hahaha

So MY SON wants me, him and all 3 boys to train in Brazilian Ju-jitsu together. Hhhhmmmm sure, if he pays for the three of them, why not???

PS This morning I finished the 30 day Kokoro Yoga Challenge!!!!!! Off to do 100 pushups a day for 30 days challenge!!!!!

2 GF,
Stop.
Take a breath...
Think of what you can say.
What you should say.
What tomorrow you will be glad to have said. And DIDN"T say!

You know that when one speaks, others listen.
Be sure that what you say is what you want to be repeated....
Choose your words carefully.
If you cannot think of appropriate words, be silent.
But, give"The Look!"
You know what I'm talking about!

Choose wisely, my Friend!

Scott

Which reminds me....
About time to throw some lead from my weapons again.
Perhaps an AK is in my future.....:hello2:
Reminds me of a story some years ago when I was.....

Oh, Seems like y'all don't like me and my stories.

OK. Later.

Your loss, Losers.

Scott

Hi AU. I accidentally clicked on this thread while I was stuck in limbo waiting for Treasure Hunter to restore my account after a phone wreck.
I noticed your post about Ovations- my sister-in-law had one years ago and I have to admit I was not horribly impressed. But I was young also and I never played on stage for sure.
I have a few guitars, a Peavey T-60, an old Framus, Fender Mustang, a 1970 fender twin reverb amp. But a few years ago a fellow brought a early Blue Ridge acoustic to work and offered to my brother for $100.00 cause it had a crack in front. He didn't want it but tells me. I bought it cause it had a beautiful sound like no other acoustic I ever heard.
The Chinese build them. What they did was tear down a few Martins and then built the Blue Ridge. People may equate Chinese with cheap mass produced stuff, but when they want to they can compete in high end.
At that time, people who couldn't afford Martins were advised to get a Blue Ridge as only a pro would know the difference in sound.
Anyway, I was intrigued by your admiration for the Ovation.
I also saw your post of a playing card left with the VC.
My brother was a forward artillery spotter in Viet Nam.
Would you mind sending me a translation by pm?

Yeah we have about 2 weeks left in baseball......... I’m usually the quiet one....this guy is a pompous ass!!!!

Friend,
I am a Cold War Vet.
I served in bunkers having C-Rats thrown to me in Germany. While the temp was below zero. Dig?

Sprichst du deutsch Vielleicht haben wir etwas gemeinsam ....

No I don't. My other Air Force brother, who was in Berlin in the sixties working on intercepting the Russian transmissions and other stuff, knows a little.
I missed out on Vietnam by a little. Never was in the military. Maybe that might have been a good career, but who knows. I don't romanticize war for sure. I think there are just wars, such as Charles "The Hammer" Martel stopping the moors.
Below zero? Did you have those old green wool blankets at least?

Hillbilly prince, first off welcome. Secondly what state do you live in?

Thank you:) I'm in Missouri. Brought here from Colorado when I was a kid.
By the way, I don't think that coach should be cussing around kids.

yea i don't think so either its bad enough just about every thing has bad language in it
