CRISPINS CRITTERS

Such learning experiences led me to form a band. I performed live on stage at the local watering hole.

I performed original songs and the (Drunk) crowd loved it.
Sheesh!

Well, I have new songs, and they are fly, dig?

OK.

Here is the Harrah's Casino Chip from New Orleans that I mentioned earlier as a prize for a Trivia Question....

Now then, RC, what shall the question be?
Shall we make it easy and the first with the correct answer?
Or shall it be difficult and wait for the correct answer?

Best,

Scott

ADDED:
Some have doubted that I have buried a treasure and have given clues.
I hope that all will see that I have indeed buried a Treasure to find.
I am a generous man, but, If you want a Treasure, you must earn it!

It's your chip!

This minute I'd go easy.

Like.... define Cajun Courir ! Who,why,how,when,where.......:laughing7:

Picked up Dale yesterday about 10 am.
We stopped at Mickey D's for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and coffee.

Then we went to a cove off of "Sportsman Drive" at Lake Lanier.

We both tried every jig, lure and plastic or rubber critter in our arsenal, but the fish weren't cooperating....

Dale walks with a cane and after a couple of hours we decided to throw in the towel.

I told him that I'd do some research and try to find a good catfishing river in the area....

Even though he only caught one small bass and I caught 2 , all three wouldn't even make a sandwich,
we both had an enjoyable time just getting out and bonding.

I hope that the next time we go, John will be able to come also.

Hope all had a great Weekend!

Best,
As Always,

Scott

OK.

Here's the question for the Harrah's New Orleans Casino Chip.

Y'all know that I like coins and History.....

On my Vacation, I visited a now defunct United States Mint.

Name ALL of the now defunct US Mints.

For a BONUS of an Error 1998 US Wide "AM" Lincoln cent,
Name the years of each's operation and the "Type" of coins they issued.

First posted correct answer wins it all!

Good Luck, my Friends!

Scott

Added:

Don't think of Private Mints, such as The Bechtlers, Templeton and Reid of Georgia, Norris, Moffat etc.
I'm talking about sanctioned US Mints.

And, I just messaged my Friend who is going to send in my 1999 Wide "AM" Lincoln cent for grading and slabbing.
I said that I had an 1876 Indian Head Cent that would come close to grading "AU." Worth $150+
Also a 1972 Lincoln "DDO. Coneca 3-0-1."
Worth perhaps $300-$400.
I asked if it was too late to send them to him.
He is in Anniston, Alabama, where I had my MP training.....

He said, "Send them tomorrow and I'll include them!"

Helpful info about a 1972 Lincoln DDO Coneca 3-0-1.....
1972 Doubled Die Obverse 3

Friends,
My Landlord worked for a bank and would bring me bags of unrolled, unsearched Lincoln cents.
Each bag was $50.
That's 5000 coins.
I've searched at least 20 bags....

Do the math.

I would save ALL pre 1982 cents because they are nearly pure copper.
Worth about $0.03 each.
I have ROLLS of copper cents sorted by year and mint mark.

Of Course, I saved wheats AND WAMS and anything that was worth more than a hot red cent!

Imagine me trying to pawn off $20-$30 of common rolled cents trying to buy gas, etc.......:tongue3:

Sometimes it would take me weeks to get rid of them!

Best,

Scott

But, it's all just "Money," right?

Looks like I'll be the richest SOB in the graveyard!

But, really, what is it that makes a man rich?
His bank account?
His "liquid" assets?

Friends,
A man is rich in his accomplishments, his passions of generosity and his desire to help others.

I have had brief discussions with a trusted Friend and I said, that of my estate,
I want an American Flag, pole and light to fly old Glory 24-7 where I work.
There is no flag anywhere on the property....
I also said that I want a plaque to read at the flag,
"America. Land that I love"
"A Gift of Scott Xxxxxx. An American. A Veteran. An Employee."

Now then...

How shall the rest of my fortune be spent?

So, it has gotten quiet up in here....

How about some great guitar work?

I don't know....perhaps some Stanly Jordan?

Or some Tommy Emmanuel?

(Hint. Don't bend the neck of your guitar while playing unless you know what you are doing....Trust me....I know.)

Either is worthy of learning. Don't you think?

Yep.
Time to tune up 12 strings again...

Thanks again, OV.
Always think of you when I tune up the 12 Epy....
Just replaced the strings with a set of "Ernie Ball Medium."
Working out the tone with this....

We both know the chords and riff....

(Still looking for a 6 or 12 Ovation....)

Y'all be good, now, hear?
