Somtimes, life is hard.
Perhaps you dropped an ice cream cone.
Sometimes a Friend just blew their brains on you.

Remember that you are in charge of your life.
Only you can make a difference...
And, you can make a difference in another's life.....

Be the one to make a difference.....
I was once one that wanted to die, and I was once one to save another.
What shall your purpose be?

Last night my wife and I took 5 grandkids to Planet 3....... plus my dog. My dog loves this place. All the kids were having a great time jumping all over to the music. It was awesome. So my dog starts running around ( on her leash of course) she’s jumping and rolling as if to say “ look at me daddy, I can do it too” she was rolling on the floor to the music......... I haven’t told you guys but she is my service dog. I have a medical condition and she alerts me before it gets out of control. That wasn’t the reason we got her but we have grown so close that’s what she does now. I took her to a bait shop once and the owner yelled at me “ don’t put her on the floor” then I saw she had a bigger dog. She then said “ everybody has a service dog now” I said “well ma’am we have been at war for over 17 years now!” “ and my dog is a lifesaver. I pet her longer, harder and deeper...... instead of ripping the ****ing throats out of *******s!” Hehehe. I helped a Ranger and Seal get service dogs and they are free to use my saying. So last night I had my cute little dog in my lap and about 5 beautiful women came by and asked to pet her. She wears a patch that reads “ service dog do not pet” But it allows me to educate people. Later wife came by and smacked me on the head “ Now I see why you take that dog everywhere “ I said “ now hon I’m just educating these young ladies about service dogs, not emotional support dogs.” Uh huh I bet you are. Hehehe

Scott Senator McCain was an absolute American Hero. McCain, a Navy lieutenant commander, became the most famous prisoner of the Vietnam war, a victim of horrendous torture and a tool of enemy propagandists.

Shot down over Hanoi, suffering broken arms and a shattered leg, he was subjected to solitary confinement for two years and beaten frequently. Often he was suspended by ropes lashing his arms behind him. He attempted suicide twice. His weight fell to 105 pounds. He rejected early release to keep his honor and to avoid an enemy propaganda coup or risk demoralizing his fellow prisoners. His father was admiral of Pacific Fleets during his 5 1/2 years as a POW.

When I attended 1 of several SERE schools, McCain was an absolute hero to us. These strong men paved the way for all SERE graduates and future military aviators and anybody that could possibly be behind enemy lines. Rest In Peace Captain John S McCain III

Hey OV are RM’s still good bikes? I know it’s an opinion. In my day I was always running against my Uncles’ and cousins Elsinore’s. Do they even use that word anymore, Elsinore?

Now days there is just the RM 85 two stroke. The RMZ's are 4 strokes and scary as hell! The 4 strokes are no longer heavy gutless wonders. It is weird to watch a motocross race and not here the ring-a ding-ding of the two strokes. Elsinore? sure lake Elsinore! They were great bikes back in the day.

John Mccain...I voted for him in 2008 as anyone, even a dead skunk was better than Osama Obama. A rhino he was. Politically a piece of trash. He may have been a war hero but that was it. Still thirty times the man Obama was...

I wasn’t either hahahaha you funny man hahaha I attended several SERE programs and that’s all I’m going to say about that. Our class motto in my second program was:
Admit nothing
Deny everything
Make counter accusations

I’ve used that against my wife for YEARS!!!!!!!!!

Just packaged up two mailings to France for 2 different swaps and the 1999 Lincoln WAM to be sent in for Grading/Slabbing.
Will visit the PO in the morning to send each on their way....

The fellow I sent the Lincoln WAM to, for submission to grade, is in Anniston, Alabama.
Where I trained at Ft. McClellan at a OSUT MP base in 1977.
Small world, huh?

Shannon said that since I worked half a day today, that I only have to work a half day on Friday.
That way, I can tie up loose ends on Friday afternoon, before I hit the road EARLY Saturday morning on my way to NOLA!

About an 8 hour drive and I'll probably explore the area when I get there.
Check into a motel and plan the week based on previous and current recon options.

I'll have a metal detector or two with me and look for some of that New Orleans Mint Silver!
I'll have my camping gear and a week's worth of MRE's, but, I'll probably find the best cajun cuisine by asking the locals that I meet.

Being unsure of Weapons laws, I think that I'll go unarmed.....No big deal.
I'm a big boy and can move and think fast on my feet....

And, I'll certainly take my camera with me!

Y'All have a great week!

Best,

Scott

And...
Just won another tourney.
I'm now over 3 million.

I wonder if there are any Casinos near New Orleans? :icon_scratch:

Best,

Scott

Just got one of those phone calls.
You know the one...
Unsolicited, wanting to reduce my credit card rate, sell me life or health insurance or tell me that I owe the IRS....

Well, I look at those calls as a welcome comedy relief to everyday problems.
I make a game out of it, complete with points awarded....

For example, I play them for the entire "spiel" they have.
Then, I say, "I'm not sure that I understand. Can you repeat that."
If they do, that's 10 points!

If you can get them to swear at you, that's 50 points!

If you can get them to put on their supervisor to explain their scam, that's 100 points!

And, if you can get their Supervisor to swear at you, that's 500 points!

But, you have to play carefully because if they hang up on you at any time, you lose all the points you gained.

So, look forward to the scammers calling you and remember,
the longer that you waste their time, the fewer people that they can scam.

Be Well, my Friends!

Scott

And, adding to my vast currency collection,
I just purchased this....

My first "National Currency" note!
A relatively low serial number.
Notice the "alignment guide" in the upper right corner of the face?
Somewhat rare.....
The "L" prefix to the serial number is indicative to the 12 Federal Reserve Districts.
"L" signifying San Francisco.
The 12 Federal Reserve Districts, A-L, are used to this day.
The "A" at the end of the serial number represents the first run of the series.
